Questions & Mysteries Will Mihawk actually be Zoro's final opponent?

No, 2nd to last, just like whomever (i.e. Blackbeard or Shanks) will stand in the way of Pirate King for Luffy. If we can assume the latter in the sense thar Imu comes after Pirate King, then we can assume the former.

@Gauntlet Imho this is why i personally feel Akainu's military needs to go down before LT
- Luffy becoming PK should imply that Zoro becomes the WSS around the same time.
- While we dont usually "scale" bounties, Admirals seem to be at 3 billion. Compare to Mihawk's 3.59 Billion
- Fuji being fought after this in any capacity "structurally" just doesnt make sense because its a fair assumption to scale Mihawk above them, but we know very little about Nasujuro, someone with evidently Shodai Kitetsu black blade or not.
This is why I see Blackbeard and Akainu falling "around" the same time and before LT, because both Fuji and Shiryu exist and are clearly not better swordmen than Mihawk.
People want to call me biased, fine, but this is why i suggest that Shanks is the one at the end of GL, because unlike Blackbeard or Akainu, Benn Beckman is very clearly not a swordman, and Shanks already has a deeper connection to Mihawk. Plus, Shanks is basically just Roger (in haki and moveset evidently), so if you ever wanted Luffy to physically surpass Roger, return the hat etc, there you go, perfect time to do it.
But of course that leads to Shanks vs Mihawk territory so we cant have that either
Then finally Imu and Gorosei for no better reason other than they are super enigmatic figures who are essentially the series' longstanding goal.
Tldr:
- Blackbeard/Shiryu and Akainu/Fuji first because their #2's are evidently weaker than Mihawk
- Shanks/CG (really just Mihawk) after because Shanks is basically Roger with his own motives and Zoro should become the WSS before Luffy the PK. Plus Shanks' number 2 isnt even a blade user.
- Imu/Gorosei last for obvious reasons.

Before the Marines abandoned the Shichibukai system, there was a chance this could have happened. But narratively speaking, it makes sense for Luffy to take on the World Government AFTER he becomes Pirate King, so Mihawk won't be at the final war anymore. I can see Cross Guild being a SH opponent right before Laugh Tale, so Mihawk seems likely to be Zoro's third final opponent.
Zoro vs Kizaru/Ethanbaron/Shiryu/Mihawk is also headcannon.

You are literally comparing a fool’s dream like ZKK to a narrative built up throughout the ENTIRE series like Zoro vs. Mihawk? 
If you seriously think Oda still gonna make Zoro fight Mihawk seriously for wss title after making them bond for 2 years,

Fuji or Gorosei , only one of them will be Zoro's endgame
Ethan might be his final opponent. If he really has shodai kitetsu, the strongest cursed sword then it might have a hype ability on its own that is equal to yoru. Add a mythical zoan on top of that and it’s not surprising if he will be Zoro’s final opponent. Gorosei can still be yonko level or even surpass it, their powerlevels are still unknown.
Mihawk being the strongest swordsman and his goal doesn't necessarily imply he will be his last opponent. It'd be nice if he was (I would want him to be), but who knows. A non-swordsman may come after him or the gorosei could have unknown powers that go beyond what humans can achieve or something like it (it could actually explain their racism a bit better. I thought they were smarter than that until last chapter). Or he may fight someone who's not stronger but still poses a challenge.
