Future Events Will the BM pirates eventually join the party?

Like seriously... what’s the point of bringing them if they’re just going to be stuck out of the fight. And if you don’t wanna add all of them fine, but we know some members of Big Moms crew knows skywalk so I have to assume at least some of those on the ship can get up there. Like, why can’t at least a few just see onigashima flying above them and say, well, that looks important and just sky walk up there?

We even have a prominent ally member who looked like he got juiced by Smoothie (I’m looking at Killers messed up arm).

Let killer fuck up smoothie so we see more of his set then just what he uses in the roof fight.

Maybe they'll appear near the end. I can't imagine adding in so many foes now when pretty much everyone's occupied. But I agree, there should be a point to their appearance. Hopefully Smoothie, Compote and Snack (if he was there) get some panels and are significant eventually.

I really have no idea at this point what Oda's plan is for them.

Nope. They’re missing out on the majority of it atleast. We already got that implication outta Marco. No reason for Marco to say “the era might look a bit different” if the Big Mom Pirates will make it past the waterfall before Kaido and his crew are defeated.

Also if we are being honest, Oda simply doesn’t have the panel space or time for the BM Pirates on top of the already huge Onigashima cast. I mean if offpaneling fights like Neko/Inu vs Jack wasn’t enough of an indicator then you haven’t been paying attention. They’re gonna probably serve a role in the aftermath once the dust settles.

But why Peros not just release them as soon as possible when he landed at Onigasima? If Oda really goes to this road, he better prepare good excuse for that.

Maybe he wants the samurai alliance to weaken the beast pirates so they can have a massive betrayal.

Sadly, unless the Mont d'Or book theory is true as @Chrono said above, the chances of them joining the war are very slim for now. And Oda didn't even find a mediocre reason for them to not be in Wano yet.

Dont think they will come, Oda has build up this idea that if BM die, Peros or Katakuri will be the next captain, and i think he bring Peros to Onigashima to take BM and Peros out of the story after Wano and make Katakuri the king of Totland, but keeping a pretty strong force under him by letting Smothie and the other in the ship survive and get back home in safety.


None of the BM Pirates will see their Mama again, they
