It really validates what shanks fans say about the distinction between pure swordsmanship and having a blade which I find rather funny.

It doesn't because I prefaced my entire argument from a point when even if you are making such a distinction... Oden was just as much of a Sword nut job (Oden Nitoryu and such,) as Zoro & Mihawk and he couldn't make a Kokuto in his lifetime.

Fwiw I disagree with making that distinction itself. Which is why in all likelihood, I can see Saijos itself unable to being forged into Kokutos.

It's no different than Dory and Brogy who fought everyday for 100 years. They fought eachother seriously, with intent to kill, but neither of them sustained any major injuries, because they fought equally.

It is about fulfilling the will of the sword. Swords are made for combat, hence every sword's true will is to become the strongest. The sword becomes black when it's wielder becomes top 1 in the verse.

There's just no way he gets a new/better Sword now, he already has his final three Swords.

Sandai is too old man, and its lower grade than both Wado and Enma. Zoro will never have 3 supreme blades
