No you didn't
you didn't just make the distinction from another view point , this is what you genuinely believe.
and I quote
"
I can see the prospect of others maybe yeah but not Oden.
He's very much a swordsman of the same mold as Zoro.
And Enma was explicitly stated that it could be turned into a Kokuto and we're probably gonna see Zoro turn it into one on panel.
He has no excuse really."
Alright, i thought of one thing in my mind and wrote another thing in the post, my bad.

and you are still doing so....
nitoryu , santoryu, these sword styles don't make them more or less of a swordsman.
It's not about being more or less of a Swordsman, the whole point was that there can not be any excuse for Oden since he's very much of a Swordsmanship nutjob like Zoro/Mihawk.
There's pretty much no way Oden's excused for not making one the way i see it, regardless of how Kokutos are forged (CoC or CoA or Will of Sword crap) etc,.

you can go with that head canon if you think that's logical
am holding reservations on the others ability to
till I see what makes a black blade.
I personally think that's the smarter thing to do.
That's what we're all doing lol.

Not really, because Oda can easily make it something like, it's the pinnacle of what CoA can achieve, but only someone who specializes in CoA can ever reach that point, and then turn around and make Oden a CoO or CoC specialist.

Also, it doesn't have to be Swordsmen specific. I doubt Swords are the only things that can be permanently hardened/Blackened. Hell, I believe that's how the Poneglyphs were made. They were first carved as stone, and then hardened to the point of being indestructible in the same way a black blade is forged.

Maybe but even then Oden just didn't have that good enough CoA to do that feat.

This probably is gonna be true.
Wano's Stonemasons created Poneglyphs right?
So probably either they were experts in stonemasonry & imbuing it with haki.

Then again, didn't Oden just carve Roger's name & words into the Skypeia Poneglyph?
They may be indestructible but i doubt they can't be carved onto since Oden did that.
Might just be a plot related reason why someone didn't just carve junk onto the stone and make the wordings unreadable.

It wasn't carved into the Poneglyph itself, but rather the Golden wall that was next to the Poneglyph. He just used the Ancient Language. That could be another indicator that the Poneglyphs can't be carved through once they are already hardened, since Oden opted to used the Gold wall next to the Poneglyph, instead of the actual Poneglyph.

fair .
Tho I will say difference with oden is that there's no excuse needed for him cause zoro will be outright stronger than him. Not cause of how he fights or the fact he is a samurai that couldn't make a black blade. you won't have to argue around zoro being stronger than oden end of the series based on simply having a black blade. being someone who wielded the blade before ,the comparison to him , will be frequent. You saw it with the scar in wano and when zoro figured out the right way to wield the blade , he talked about how oden would have held it . Even if zoro wasn't forging a black blade, he is still on track to surpass him and I figure oda is making that clear.

I was just mentioning top tier swordsmen with coc in that prob why I included him . I would argue the same for Rayleigh and shanks. with the others like Roger, xebec wb etc it becomes more evident using the black blade argument as the determinant for who is stronger is a bit too simpleminded.
