That SBS statement was made in a point in time where Whitebeard died and we were in the Yonko saga, with Kaido being revealed and hyped up as the WSC. In this context it makes sense for Oda to further emphasize this instead of referring to a Whitebeard that died and is a remnant of the old era.

Still the question, why Oda mentions Kaido in a question that is about Akainu's power. Why would you call SBS bullshit when Oda uses it to elaborate canon information? Like the hierarchy of DFs, height of characters, etc. Why is it suddenly BS when it doesn't fit some peoples bias. If Oda, in tha exact same context in a question about Akainu said, that an angry mother is stronger than even Mihawk, what would your conclusion be? Mihawk = current strongest, Mihawk = strongest in history or SBS = bullshit
Does it matter what time it was made though, he said mother is stronger than anyone even Kaido.

Lmao does he mean mother is stronger than everyone bar Roger/Beard?

No, he commented on an angry mothers strength in the context of the current story, which the SBS always does. We were in the Yonko Saga, Whitebeard was long dead and a remnant of the old era. With the emphasis being on the Yonko and with Kaido being introduced as the strongest 1 on 1, Oda used that SBS to highlight the fact of Kaido being the strongest in the story at the moment of the SBS.

Again, why bringing up Kaido in a question that is about Akainu? What purpose does that serve?

Either to proclaim that Kaido is strongest in history or for fuck all.

Saying just to proclaim Kaido is strongest in current era is faulty logic.

No matter how you try to spin it, there are only three valid positions to take

-SBS means Kaido > All in history
-SBS means Kaido > Akainu and that's it
-SBS means nothing

@nik87 Whitebeard was highlighted above the other Yonko on several occasions. Being called king of the seas, being hardest to take down according to Big Mom, being the equal of "even" Roger according to the narrator.

Oden saying that no one can beat him if he himself can't, obviously referred to the people within Wano, which is a closed country. Otherwise, that statement would also put Oden above Primebeard. "If I (Oden) can't beat him, then Whitebeard as well can't". Isn't really logical. Roger swatted Oden away like a fly.
G3 also swatted Fuji...

That statement never referred to Wano alone... That statement is backed up to how the world view Kaido as strongest and hard to beat

Anyway, Zoro will never surpass any Yonko

So why does Oda mention Kaido at all in a question revolving around Akainu's power? Since Akainu is already one of the strongest, Oda could've just agreed and said yeah, an angry mother is stronger even than Akainu. Why reaching out to Kaido in the first place? What's the purpose of that?
Well then take it to face value, Kaido said no one can be stronger than a mother, not even Kaido.

Its not Roger and WB can be stronger than mother lol
