General & Others Worst fights in One Piece

I don't like fights that border on the notion of murderporn.

Excessive gore, excessive death, excessive violence.

So, I didn't like Usopp fighting that racoon lady and that slow guy. Usopp got battered repeatedly, and I considered it a bit excessive. Many of Usopp's fights are like that. In Wano, when he got cracked in the head it actually showed that his skull fractured like it was some kind of Mortal Kombat fatality.

Ugh let's see... When Atlas died it was like watching an innocent kid get chopped up and then explode into a billion pieces. It was brutal. I didn't like it. I feel the author used a robot in that sense to show excessive violence because he might not do that with an actual person simply because of how excessive it was.

I realize Pedro exploded and what's her name had her arm chopped off by Kaido, but in both those scenarios it was kind of less brutal because 1) it wasn't a kid 2) it was a clean cut or a clean explosion (which sounds bizarre just saying it).

This might be sort off of the topic since you're asking about what are the least exciting fights - I guess I'm just not excited about fights like those and those would be in my worst fights list just because it went overboard and became a bit bizarre.

You say that they are different but fail to show how.
Arlong was extremely overwhelming. Sanji couldn't touch him, Zoro at his worst could not touch him. Luffy gives him everything and cannot touch him.
Suddenly, Luffy gets stronger and wins. And Arlong fights on the ground instead of fighting in the water nerfing himself.

Crocodile, Luffy gets downed 4 times, once in the desert, once when he gets sucked, once before getting in the catacombs, and once from the poison.
Are we really comparing the Arlong fight with the Kaido one? Zoro, according to Arlong himself, shouldn't even be able to stand, he was a walking corpse after the fight with Mihawk and the wound on his chest yet he still did good but he wasn't in the shape to take out Arlong too after the fight with hacci. Luffy was not even serious, he went all out just in the end when he was enraged, also the whole fight lasted what? 5 chapters versus the long stretch that was the fight with Kaido.

Luffy was beaten by Croco but survived and come back to fight another time, that is the difference. With Kaido he was beaten 4 or 5 times in the same fight just to come back stronger and with recovered health in the span of some minutes top. Anyway if you think they are the same stuff you are free to do so.

Anime carried most fights
Almost all post skip fight are trash in manga
Every fight of Zoro except King fight
Every fight of Sanji
Entire Egghead fight
Katakuri vs Luffy and Kaido vs Luffy chap 1027 till gear 5 is the only 'FIGHT' Luffy got throughout time skip......rest are filler and stalling fight

There's also Luffy vs Bellamy 2 in Dressrosa, which was another waste of time in this long long arc.
Bellamy can never be humbled enough :myman:
Post automatically merged:

Every Gear 5 fight. No stakes whatever and all Luffy can do is punch harder and make others' eyes pop out due to Oda's lack of imagination.
Have you forgotten kaido jump rope, big mouth scene against Lucci and kizaru pizza?

Luffy vs Katakuri is goated. Especially you should like it considering how much Luffy got one sidely beaten like that. 9h.
I hate that fight.
It is a first fight that annoyed me in this show.
The fact that Katakuri landed 113 hits and didn't win is just ridiculous.
And then he was cheering for Luffy on top of that... :chopoff::chopoff::chopoff:

I am not fond of how Luffy vs Cracker ended.
That was probably my favorite fight on Whole Cake I like how it was more strategy that beat Cracker instead of just completely overwhelming him

Luffy vs Cracker started nicely but then turned all goofy with the Luffy eating biscuits stuff and growing fat after Nami wet them for 11 hours without Cracker changing his tactics.

Cracker definitively could have taken out both Nami and Luffy just if he had fought smart, but then again it's One Piece where antagonists always have PIS when the Straw Hats are suddenly involved, but just materialising one or several of his biscuit soldiers just next to Nami to deal with her, or create biscuits projectiles or biscuits soldiers armed with throwing spears/javelins or bows/crossbows to do the same, while using other biscuit soldiers to keep Luffy busy before returning his attention to finish Luffy, or force him to get injured to protect Nami.

Cracker's df surely had far more potential than just creating biscuit soldiers or weapons.
