You're arguing for both points at the same time and you can't even realize it.

WSS is just being the strongest swordsman. Wishing to be the strongest is aiming to be the WSS just as much as it is aiming to be the WSM as long as you're a swordsman.

Nobody aims for any of the three specific titles, they are still the reality of who's the strongest..

No because carrying a sword doesn’t make you a swordsman
None of the characters I listed that wanted to be the strongest are swordsmen

And none of the character you listed actually showed interest in beating WB or Kaido to take their title despite "wanting to be the strongest". Even Luffy didn't give a single shit about not being named the WSC after beating Kiado. Meanwhile we actually got a protagonist wanting to surpass Mihawk.

If people strive to be the strongest that obviously includes him. Nobody is saying “I want to be stronger than everyone but kaido” that’s dumb and obviously makes no sense

Big Mom is a swordswoman who uses sword techniques. But that's besides the point, as I can just list Shanks, Rayleigh, Oden and Roger "wanting to be the strongest".

In wanting to be the strongest, regardless of if you think Kaido is the strongest of them all, they must first surpass Mihawk and be the WSS before they can be the WSC.

There's a limit to how much you can stretch an hypocritical argument.

Cross Guild is not a typical Yonko pirate crew.. It's an Alliance.. So yes it would make sense that they boost one another to a certain degree.. If Mihawk was already at 2 Billion, he would still have a lower increase then Buggy shooting up almost 3 Billion..

By the way Shanks was already at 1.4 Billion when he was Dueling Mihawk..
