Controversial Yall who says Elbaf is next arc

#41
So Skip Piece is way different from Early Piece.

While Early Piece is heavily focused on main crew and additional side characters of each arc Skip Piece we have a different focus on side characters that keeps going with us through several arcs/saga.

Which is the case of Law and now Kid.

Law is with us since Punk Hazard

And Kid joined the alliance at Wano

When Wano finished the 3 of them set apart on their own meaning that their alliance is now over and they would continue their journey as enemies

Law explains that he is going the further while Luffy is going the shorter and Kid being in the middle. And latest events showed that Luffy desires to go to Elbaf(Kid's location) while Law and Bepo are also escaping to somewhere stil unkown.

Giving how those are the only locations we know that are next to each other there is a high possibility that Law and Bepo will also escape to Elbaf like Luffy desires to. That would mean that the alliance would be together again at Elbaf after all 3 of them suffered humiliated defeats (Luffy may not be really defeated but running is humiliating right? Is almost like a defeat since you are saying that your opponent was too strong to be defeated). So the same alliance that set apart at Wano to go their own ways were now forced once again to reunite themselves. Right?

But... That wouldn't make any sense? Right?

Why would Oda have them separated for 1 arc just to reunite them again in the right next one? When did that ever happened?

We have Zou's > WCI arcs that we had a separation of the Strawhats main crew where only some of them went to WCI while the others would already await at Wano. But that was prepared, desired by them. Not forced like now.

We also had at Dressrosa the creation of Luffy's fleet where they joined forces at that arc but they didn't showed up in the next one or the other or even now. Fandom came up with multiple reasons for Luffy's fleet to show up both at Wano and now at Egghead. But they didn't showed up at Wano and it doesn't seem that they will show up now since no communication was done(on screen but would make perfect sense for the incident being Strawhat's fleet taking care of Marines fleet).

So I ask you again... Why would Oda separate alliance only to have them together 2 arcs later? He wouldn't, right? It makes no sense! That's why I'm saying we are not going to Elbaf next arc. Oda showed this arc that he can work multiple scenarios in different islands and fans loved it! He doesn't need Luffy to be in the same island of Law and Kid to keep working on their journey. Just like Revo Army(which is a good candidate for next arc. Remember all about Kuma and Bonney that are with them now).

So that's it. We going to Elbaf now would mean once again reuniting the alliance which wouldn't make sense only 2 arcs later.
I remember there is this huge tree in Elbaf that goes all the way to the sky.It will probably involve a sky island too.Hope we see Urouge there.

If they didn’t need more development then why do characters like Usopp, Chopper and Brook still feel like they’re lacking? Usopp is still a coward who does nothing almost every arc, Chopper is treated like a mascot and Brook is useful at times, but he usually does one thing and that’s about it.

You’re missing the point, as usual. :zosleepy:
They don't lack development just screen time and meaningfull jobs at arcs. They are not doing what they usually do.

Usopp was MVP at Dressrosa and he barely showed up at Zou, Wano and now Egghead.

Brook was MVP at Whole Cake and barely showed up at Wano and now Egghead.

Chopper is missing since pre-timeskip.

Lmao nobody in Wano uttered the word "Elbaf" as the next Island, yet you have Vegapunk saying it in Egghead.

What is wrong with you XD
Everybody said that Elbaf was next.

Even the ones who said Vegapunk was a possibility were still saying Elbaf would be next.

Yeah I remember that. And it was never adressed any importance so far.

Also I guess it was gave a common name between animes/manga Yggdrasil which means (from nordic mythology) the center of universe or something on the lines.

Dude, its becaue Elbaf is quite literally the only example of characters having flashbacks or going there BEFORE Luffy goes there. And even then, it still exists in the context of other characters mentioning islands. Here you go:

Impel Down:

Marineford:

2 locations we visit that are hinted and teased prior with incomplete drawings or silhouettes.

Now tell me, whats the next excuse going to be lol?
Elbaf is probably the most cited island during all one piece

Well, I think Usopp needs development. It’s not even just because he’s absent a lot of the time either, but his character is 80% cowardess and 20% bravery. When he’s Sogeking it’s like 20% cowardice and 80% bravery.

If he needs to rely on a mask to do anything, then what does that say?

Dude he went Sogeking one fucking time. WTF are you talking about?

Do you even know what cowardice and bravery means to talk shit like that?

Usopp is nothing but bravery. He has nothing of coward on him.

Given the hype that the giants got I'll be surprised if we don't go to Elbaf at one point
What hype exactly? I can only think of Big Mom saying they are the strongest army.

Besides that I don't see nothing impressive from the giants we saw already on One Piece. They seem like a joke.

Yea that quite big hype thing to say if a yonko of all people is confident that Elbaf can tip the balance towards them and because of that I am interested to see Elbaf as well being mentioned a few times

Whether Elbaf is next or not, we will see soon enough but it is happening 100%.
Yep, even if theres yet another pitstop, it doesnt change the fact that this is where they intend to follow the log.

What people dont understand is that the crew hasnt had nearly enough time to settle at Egghead, and VP pointed to Elbaf as the alternative route they should go (from Wano) because they werent there long enough to set the log for something else.

We may not even see Law's destination because of this, since we may just be at Elbaf for a long time and it sets to another island (or Lodestar)
