Powers & Abilities Yamato used advanced COA?

#1
In chapter 994 we see Yamato swing her club and next thing we see is the porcupine getting slammed into the wall. However, the scene doesn't show any shockwave effect.

The only option left is haki. Yamato must have sent her haki flying and this slammed the porcupine into the wall. Wouldn't this be an advanced usage of COA?

What if is just a flying blunt attack similar to swordsmen flying slashes?
It is never said it can't be done with a blunt weapon right?
If it was like flying slashes, they would've been shockwave effect. But there wasn't any , it was silent around the surrounding.

What? You can send people flying with barrier haki too
You can't send the barrier haki flying

That's literally what Hyogoro was teaching Luffy in Udon. Hyogoro didn't have penetration haki himself so he couldn't teach Luffy that.

Luffy was trying to do barrier haki and attack without touching gifters in Udon.
But he subconsciously used penetration haki when removing the cuffs.

Both barrier and penetration haki can attack from range.

Barrier doesn't go at that range. It is only a few centimeters away from the user's palm.
It isn't shot to a significant distance like a flying attack

All flying slashes have sound effects accompanying them?
It can also be Oda forgot to add them and will fix it in the volume edition.

What do you think it was?
Shockwave. Like how a flying slash has a shockwave which is actually visible. But in Yamato's case it isn't visible.
Yeah possibly.

I think she sent her haki flying through the club much like how Enma shoots Ryou

you can see the barrier effect
Oh really.. I haven't noticed that. Beforehand I thought it would be similiar to Burgess' galleon lariat, just raw strength, but that certainly looks like a solid haki barrier.
Just rewatched those Burgess scenes, might be that he actually was doing the same for surge elbow..
It's just just from another perspective.
He should be able to, afterall he wanted to stab a logia user with a dagger, which requires advanced CoA lvl1.

Perhaps it becomes a thing that next to swordsmen and their air slashes, that non swordsmen with extraordinarily high phyiscal strength have those air cannon moves supported by advCoA.

This idea of it being flowing haki if it is connected to a blade of some kind (guess that’s what you’re saying) that is not true. If that’s were the case then Smoker has flowing haki and used that against Law, whereas he used regular hardening against Vergo. It makes more sense to say Smoker used level one armament haki to protect against Law’s room, he needed no more than that, but used actual hardening against Vergo. Likewise, Burgess only needs level one armament haki for his dagger
