2- I know what hadiths means, but there’s 2 problem , first pretty sure that hadith was not from (bokhari or sahih muslim) and you know these 2 sources are the only legit ones
Second problem is that hadith is a clear contradiction from what god said
god said hit your women

so there’s a clear contradiction
and if there’s a contradiction between the quran and the hadith

The prophets companions wrote hadith and transmitted it
Mujahid said: I saw a manuscript with Abdullah bin "Amr bin al-'As so I asked about it. He said: This is al-Sadiqa and in it is what I listened to from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him, ->

Abu Rashid al-Hurani said: I went to 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin al-As and I said to him: "Narrate to me what you listened from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him." ->

بِمَ يَضْرِبُ أَحَدُكُمْ امْرَأَتَهُ ضَرْبَ الْفَحْلِ أَوْ الْعَبْدِ ثُمَّ لَعَلَّهُ يُعَانِقُهَا
How does one of you strike his wife as he beats the stallion camel and then embrace her?

It is a striking without severity.
It was said, “What is a striking without severity?” Ibn Abbas said:
بِالسِّوَاكِ وَنَحْوِهِ
It is with a toothstick or something similar.
