How well do you think he's treated the title so far?

If we 100% believe each title but take them very literally

Newgate - Worlds strongest man - if we take it literally you could technically look at it only including just men and not women and it you want to limit it even more only human men.
At the same time based on everything else we know and been told wb was also considered the strongest pirate alive and put a pedestal above by his fellow emperors and even the wg. Man really was the stongest for a time

Kaido - Worlds strongest creature - taking it extremely literal it could either mean the strongest creature excluding or including humans depending on whether were considered so or not
At the same time based on what we know he is also just looked at as the current strongest pirate and in general person alive right now by just about everyone

Side note if not luffy after wano teach will definitely get one of those titles soon
mihawk - worlds strongest swordsmen - literally anyone who can use a sword or is skilled in using a sword. Tho how skilled you need to be also doesn't matter cause random fodder marine #365 from west blue can be considered just as much a swordsman as mihawk.
In story we know just because someone carries a sword, is able to overwhelm other swordsman with his sword skill, and can coat it in haki it doesn't mean they're actually a swordsman. What actually makes someone a swordsman? At this point whether or not oda decides so or not.

So out off all the titles oda unintentionally or not definitely shat on mihawks the most in comparison to the other 2. Just based on the fact their even can be an argument on who counts or not as potential competition for the title.
Doesn't help that we don't know others that strive for the title other than zoro. While whitebeard and kaidos titles are basically synonymous with just mean the strongest in general and most people obviously want that to be them

if you ask casual readers ... VAST majority of them will side with Shanks over Mihawk ...
and 100% of them are FULLY aware of MIhawk title

so something MUST be wrong with Mihawk hype on screen ...
I mean ... Mihawk SHOULD HAVE every right to be above Shanks
ffs ... Shanks's power is least important thing about him while Mihawk power DEFINE his character
Mihawk > Shanks SHOULD HAVE been an easy thing to say

but Mihawk hype is shaky on screen ... what can we do but wait ...

Like who?
Most said they want to be pirate king/find one piece. Including the one with WSC title himself

To become pirate king you pretty much have to be the strongest. The bigger your dreams in general the stronger you need to be to accomplish them in op

And most people aren't specifically gonna go to newgate or kaido to specifically take their title. Doesn't mean they don't want to be the strongest or most powerful.

Teach is likely to get a title if he does end up as strong as he needs and wants to be. Even after kaido, newgate, and linlin are out with him not doin much to fight them

the good thing about other title (WSM and WSC) is they have Yonko as their title too.
WSS in the other hand is just a Shichibukai, a title where Buggy even achieved that and even got replaced by SSG.

Pretty bad. For over 1040 chapters:
-Zoro hasn't fought a single person who's interested in the title
-there hasn't been a single person aside from Zoro and Kuina, a flashback character, who's been interested in the title. Ryuma has been dead for 400 years
-we have no information of any lasting impact Mihawk caused
-in the land of samurai where we got tons of swordsmanship info, Mihawk is completely irrelevant in that arc. The WSS title was brought up once during the King fight
-weapons grades has been irrelevant since their introduction in chapter 97.

The title being Zoro's dream is the only thing sustaining the title.
