Zoro will not be the MVP of this fight, period.

Despite killing Kaido you would still not call him MVP? I dont think that's possible even if you want to lowball it to play it safe...

Hmm, I've changed my mind on it. For now, I think Zoro didn't draw blood from Kaido or otherwise significantly damage him this chapter. I might reconsider if the Viz reveals that Kaido indeed complimented Zoro and Killer on their attack.

Exactly. There was no damage. In the chapter, no character actually damaged Kaido....Luffy included.
People jumped the gun because of the spoilers.
But the pictures make it quite clear. Zoro didn't coat his swords, Killer didn't know aBout adCOA nor did he even consider doing damage to Kaido, Kidd didn't know about adCOA, Law wanted to destroy Kaido from the inside and Luffy didn't use adCOA with G4.

KAido's not going to be the most evil bad guy we've come across. Look at him laughing like a goofball when he thought Luffy could be as great as those he reminded him of.

Zoro will not kill Kaido. He will cut Kaido and open his wounds, sure. But Luffy will deal the final blow. As much as I like the sound of it, its not going to happen in the same way Zoro didnt beat Lucci, Enel, Crocodile, Doflamingo...the list goes on.

Also, Luffy doesnt kill his opponents.

Have you read the last chapter?
Zoro is grouped with Killer during their attack, Kidd-Law were grouped with Luffy.
The trio dealt the last attack, not Zoro-Killer. Zoro-Killer were more like the appetizer before the main course.

Kid and Law got more importance than Zoro during the build up of this fight.

I think it's mostly about the characters that share some quirks in common with Zoro, rather than their physical aspects.
