My thread, this very one you are responding to, the original post, explains it all… It’s BAIT. As the title says.
Oda did this already. I was in your very shoes at the start of Act 2 when Momo revealed that he learned Wano words from Zoro. Then Hyogoro started teaching Luffy Ryuo which sounded exactly like the breath of all things Zoro learned as a kid… I was sat on the Zoro lineage train by then… Then Oda revealed all that shit was about Kuina actually and immediately I saw it… FUCKIN BAIT

I think Ryuma fathered many children outside of wano so its possible Zoro is distantly related to shimotsuki clan.
Roronoa is spanish name which totally makes he might be distantly related to main clan. I think his parents are normal people who stay around village. I wouldnt be surprised about it if zoro is not part of some noble clan .
I am not sure if oda will write this in shonen manga polygamy outside of marriage relationship was common back in feudal japan .

Wait what? This doesn't follow? Are you supposing that Zoro is Ryuma's son or Ryuma himself or something?
If Zoro is Ryuma's son, then he'll be Toki's (step?) brother, and so Oden's brother in law.

Zoros story isn’t about his past, but his future. I was always a big fan of Zoro not being connected by blood to a wano family, but the farther in wano we got the more I accepted it as a strong possibility.
Zoro would likely say something like he doesn’t care who his family was, the only thing that matters to him is what he will become. The worlds strongest swordsman.
