Aight since y’all complained, I’ve gone through and deleted or edited all posts so far in this thread that was/were down talking other characters “badassness”. So keep it to your choices ok tha poll and either up y’all em, or whatever. But don’t bash another’s choice. Light hearted jokes are fine

It's always funny to me that people who hate zoro love katakuri. He is basically the zoro of BMP pirates. Always cool, badass, serious, doesn't laugh, even his face is like a zoro. But haters call zoro an one dimensional character when they lick katakuri lol.

Anyway i voted for Zoro. It's easy to be badass in one arc or even one scene. But being a badass after 20 years is something else.

WB and Mihawk/Aka Inu are really good too.

These four just exude that aura so passively. If Jack was in the poll, he'd be #1. Whereas Whitebeard — I saw someone name him earlier — is a frail old man who is on life support lol. He's cool when he's pissed but most of the arc it looked like modern Hulk Hogan roaming around some riot. I wanted nothing more than to escort the old guy off the field of battle and yell at Marco for letting his mentally unwell grandfather out unattended.

Roronoa Zoro wins this easily

Try any list of most badass anime/manga character online. Zoro is the only/first character from One Piece who gets any consideration.
I am pretty sure Whitebeard doesnt make it in most of those lists. That should tell you everything.

Zoro is one of the iconic badass anime characters alongside Vegeta, Kenpachi etc. He comes third in my list only after the GOAT Hajime Saito and Guts.

I love Whitebeard, but he shouldnt be anywhere near to Zoro in this list.

I have only seen Berserk movies but his character archetype is much more complex then Zoro's. He lost something, and his failure follows him everywhere in the form of that scar on his neck and his goal is life is to get over that. While Zoro is a great written character, his archetype is very simple, he is simply the guy with ambition to get stronger strengthened by his child hood and great moral compass,

Oda simply isn't capable of writing a character as complex as guts but Pre TS Zoro is the best work Oda has done. Zoro is on the very top by One Piece standards but Guts' standard is much higher than what One Piece can offer.

@Admiral Lee Hung those movies are really making me wanna start reading Berserk.
