See? Here's the issue I was commenting early on. I don't see Zoro reopening Kaido's scar (which is what I think he will do) as a huge. holistic statement of strength nor something that would automatically put him above Sanji but as an attack power example, a specific stat. I'm not assuring that the only thing that Zoro will do is that, even though I highly doubt he will kill Kaido, but I sincerely believe people are going a bit crazy over the current situation even though it's a team fight with two emperors that aren't giving ther best (Kaido was literally having some fun last chapter) and that is happening while most of the versus aren't even established (as I said, I have zero trust this is the definitive pairing). Let's wait and see what has happened by the end of the arc and what Oda plans on doing for future battles. For now, I don't think Oda sees five very strong fighters facing some attacks from Kaido and Linlin as different as the whole crew, including very weak members, putting a fight against Oars.
Zoro and Luffy aren't extreme diffing either way, and you will never, ever acknowledge that because you prefer to believe that Oda has been wasting Zoro's fighting potential for literally the whole manga instead of accepting that his "fighting potential" is Kaku and not Lucci. And that's pretty much it and what I've been saying to you during this discussion: the moment Oda gives Zoro an individual versus, not something blurry as team fights, "portrayal" and "feats", that is clearly put close if not equal to Luffy's, then you will have a point. Until then, you still have the huge obstacle of Oda consciously designing "fodders" that are "wasting Zoro's fighting potential" for twenty five years, apparently.
