Did you not read Kaido's base>> Zoro's base. Taking Kaido's fruit and putting it on a weaker character with a weaker base isn't going to make a character stronger than Kaido lol.

Pretty sure kaidos base durability is from the fruit

Which makes sense tbh. Mihawk waits for a man who will entertain him and that man has to surpass Shanks. So when Zoro fights Mihawk he will have to be stronger than Shanks. And Zoro will most likely grow during that fight too, in order to be able to surpass Mihawk.
So we have Post Mihawk fight Zoro>Mihawk>Pre Mihawk fight Zoro>Shanks.

Kaido’s dragon scale Durability exists in base remember. Luffy cant damage both base and dragon kaido. In fact Luffy says Kaido’s scales are a problem yet he was f base kaido

Gear 4h is absolute garbage and Oda shafted Luffy with this stuff, how come no other character in the series has Haki problems on their own ? And how is it that he can use it in base all the time ? Even with advanced Haki ? How long have they been fighting ?

You can't have luffy in base with 2 yonko focusing on him .
If he could deal with that in base he already PK lol.

No. The only difference between his base and Gear 4th is flight and punching power he would still have Ryou and other gears. He clapped Kaido in base,and partially dodged his strongest attack, none of the SNs here scale to his base and yet they’re doing a good job. If Liffy’s base can’t fight these Yonkos then none of the SNs should stand a chance.

Kaido wasn't really a fleshed out character when WB was alive,

the Ace Novel did have people in it saying that Kaido> Oldbeard though.

WB was still WSM 2 years ago when he was old and sick lol. Kaido was already at his peek at that time. WB and Roger whole different level

I would so love this. They are top tiers out there fighting for 10 days with their most lethal powers and he can't go for a day without getting gassed. G5 needs to remedy that asap.

Recent SBS translation actually just points to Kaido being the strongest creature in the world, which is basically where we always knew he was lol.

So again, it doesnt really indicate hes the strongest pirate/villain in One Piece, which would in fact sort of step on Akainu/Blackbeard/Shanks/Im as potential fights for luffy post Wano
