The most interesting group of people is the one that understands a "storytelling" at least little bit, and the way they talk about one piece shows that there aren't happy with Oda's writing quality, but they still unwilling to accept it.

It rocked Doflamingo and it rocked dragon Kaido with the same level of ease.

Luffy lost twice before winning against Crocodile, "lost" twice against Lucci, this is his second "loss" against Kaido after kicking him around and making him look like a joke in dragon form. Kaido beating G4 fair and square rather than timing it out would be more of a loss for G4's prestige.

1000-1002 have been great and I'm sure this will be good too.
There are many chapters of great fights in the manga, Oda isn't good at wrapping up giant scenarios and likes to make everything as big of a spectacle as possible with as much at stake as he can, hence stalling the SNs only hope at winning the battle- Luffy. It's going to be bad for the SNs until Luffy recovers, tbh that hypes Luffy's peak power as being on another level.

  • Zoro is seemingly still warming up in Santoryu

I'm a believer that Luffy and Zoro deal 90% of the damage vs Kaido. I don't expect the other SN to defeat Mama though, so I'm not sure what happens to her.

Here's what I would love to happen:
  • Hybrid Kaido styles on the Supernova and knocks most of them down within a few minutes
  • Zoro rises up from the rubble. He asks Luffy how many more minutes until he can fight again.
    • Luffy replies with "X minutes" (X >= 5)
    • Zoro acknowledges Luffy's response and says he'll face Kaido.
  • Zoro unleashes Asura
  • Kaido is excited and wants to fight Zoro. He requests that Mama not intervene
  • We get an epic duel where Zoro manages to hold his own against Kaido.
  • Kaido acknowledges Zoro as a "monster samurai" of the likes of Oden and expresses hope that he might be the one to kill him.
  • Bonus
    • As things are getting difficult for Zoro, Luffy joins the fray.
    • We get epic fight choreography of Boundman/G5(???) Luffy and Asura Zoro styling on Hybrid Kaido

Imagine right after Luffy enters the fray with G4/Snakeman/G5/whatever he says "Nice Zoro" and Zoro responds with "No sweat, Captain", just like in the introduction arc when Zoro takes care of Morgan while Luffy takes down Helmeppo holding Koby hostage.

I'm still holding onto my theory that Luffy will defeat Kaido, but someone (either Jack or Big Mom) will take one of the scabbards or Momo as hostage and order Luffy to stop hitting a downed Kaido, just like back with Oden, but this time Luffy will stop the kidnapper and Kaido will fail to hit Luffy on the back because Zoro will be there to defend him, Luffy is not alone like Oden. Then after this moment, they can trade the same words.

And of course Luffy is still landing the final blow. Zoro will either reopen the scar left by Oden, or create a new one of his own. But the final KO attack will be reserved for Luffy. If the fight stays in the sky on Onigashima, and the threat of it landing will kill hundreds of thousands of citizens, I can see Luffy's last attack that KOes Kaido, also destroys the entire Island. Kind of what Luffy tried to do with the Noah, but succeeds with Onigashima.
