Destroying Wano. It already was his goal beforehand (he just liked watching Wano suffer for revenge) and it makes him a true secondary antagonist.

He isn't needed for that. Wano is already a shithole except for the flower capital were Kaido plans to drop Onigashima. Plus there's already CP0 for calling the marines...

Oda really did Kid dirty in this chapter. He had all the chance to land some attack on Kaidou in this very panel, but Kid just stood there, watching Kaidou's slow ass Dragon getting up. Even Law used his chance to counter attack Big Mom. But Kid just....stood there.

Big Mom and Kaido saw the aftermath of Zoro's dodged attack, impressed but not shocked.
Big Mom's eyes were bulging with veins as this attack was happening and we got reaction shots from Kid flabbergasted at the insane power Luffy had. Kid didn't say "how did Zoro get such power in an instant" or something like that, did he? So no I wouldn't personally put it on the same level as Luffy's strongest attack to date, considering a King Kong gun is stronger than Hiryuu Kaen in terms of single attack damage already imo.

As for the blood from the slashes, if Oda doesn't draw that from a sword slash it looks like NO damage has been done, he recovered and fought back instantly, I wouldn't hype it anywhere near the level of gatling personally, but we'll have to agree to disagree.

Yep Kaido was down for a short while after luffy attack .
In anything this chapter show why Oda still give luffy his time limit .
Can't have luffy with mobility , defence and attack power of gear 4 with out some sort draw back at this current point in the manga .

Oda drew blood from the slash, but he also drew Kaido coughing up blood for 3 panels. The coughing up blood was unnecessary.
