Oda is clearly giving the proper focus to the other strawhat alliance before he moves again to the main event which is (I hope the luffy fan arent mad) Supernova vs Yonko and not Luffy vs Big Mom&Kaido.

I see to many Luffy fan thinking that he ll deal with it which is totally wrong after what happen in chapter 1003.

This is clearly a war between the new Generation and 2 beast from the old guard.

What are the chances he chops off kaido's head before he lands Onigashima on the Flower capital. He did say he wanted to cut him to pieces

Zoro's main role is probably a) open the scar or/and b) stop Dragon Kaido above the Capital to complete the Ryuma parallel.

People would rather Zoro fight Kaido, lose and be overshadowed by Luffy than have a full blown Commander fight alone and STILL "Ryumma" Kaido later on.
