Character Discussion Why are people disrespecting Sanji for asking for help when Zoro did the same thing?

Is Sanji wrong for asking Robin for help?

What does that have to do with my thread? If you’re gonna troll at least stay on topic
See this is the problem man. Do you even read properly? The point of my post was that Zoro sets aside his pride after getting fucked over and over and realizing he is weak. Kuma, Sabaody, Pacifista, and Kizaru led to that.

On the other hand, the moment Sanji sees a “tough” opponent while not even being in any clear or present danger, he suits up and yeets his pride to a whole ‘nother dimension. They were in no clear danger, no reason to wear the suit, and Sanji can fly away, yet he wore the suit which he supposedly hated so much.

Im not going to quote you again, as you’ll choose to disregard all of that and say “ahaha Zorotard” or some silly personal insult.

robin no wat she was doing and besides she was gonna run into a tough enemy anyway and reduce harmed to ur team in a war sounds stupid it's a war
Ps its not stupid infact its smart wars are won with tactics and with trying to reduce risk and not increasing. Whats stupid is fighting a spider web for 10 chapters while your nakama is fighting an army + 2 yonkos

Zoro literally asked the person he wants to surpass for help for the sake of the crew, but when Sanji trusts his crew mate and asks for help so he can save the scabbards it’s pathetic? I’m confused?

Can someone tag everyone please?
Zoro didn't need to risk a crewmate falling into a trap to do it

No, those two situations are not comparable.
And no, Sanji calling Robin for help does not make him nearly as bad as people are slandering him for (in this thread).

It's clear that Sanji's own stupidity led him to this situation but the fact that he actually trusted Robin in front of a powerful enemy like Black Maria is actually good character development since he did not treat Robin like a damsel in distress this time like "Oh no! I have to protect Robin with all my cost!".
Pre-skip Sanji would totally do the contrast.

Besides, he's going to help the scabbards against Jack now - and they clearly need it more than Brook and Robin.

Differences in the two situations
1. One is done in enemy territory -zoro in a rival
2. One is done where people are trying to kill you the other is not(mihawk let zoro live in baratie chef therefor he didnt want to kill him)
3. One he a choice the other didnt(zoro had no choice in going to the island)
4.one is mid war the other isnt
5. Sanji doing it for selfish reasons -zoro is the opposite
6. Sanji did it because hes flawed- zoro did it because he wanted to get stronger
7. Sanji was caught- zoro was free to go
8. Sanji nerfed himself by getting hit -zoro didnt
9. Sanji risked his crew- zoro didnt
10. Sanji relayed on his crew- zoro did it himself without invloving anyone
11. Sanji got low diffed by a spider web -Zoro didnt
12. Sanji humiliated his whole crew (even heat called him pathetic ), Zoro didnt
13. Sanji didnt do it for an end goal -zoro did it to become stronger
14 sanji did it because of his morals- zoro did it against his morals
15. Sanji did it with himself in mind -zoro did it with his captain and crew in mind
16 sanji got beaten to a pulp -zoro didint
17. Sanji lured a crewmate to a trap -zoro didnt
18 sanji didnt follow his captains orders ( he was supposed to escort him to roof) -zoro followed his captain order( luffy asked him to 2 year TS and get stronger)
19 . Sanji could have ran and done everything in his power to get to helping - zoro was trying to get back to his captain until the moment he seen the newspaper
20. Sanji was weaker at the end of this - zoro grew stronger

Youre welcome

we look at context here .....
its almost as if they are vastly different

one only requires sacrificing your pride.
while the other was a situation you put yourself in, you could prob get out if you really wanted to, and requires possibly delivering an ally right into the hands of an enemy .
stop being obtuse.
Sanji heard a woman cry, He ran to help her. That is who he is. Sanji will always try to save a woman in distress. Yes, Sanji could have got out of the trap, but he feared hurting the women in the process. The man refuse to use haki for fear of hurting Black Maria. He won't hurt a woman. That is his code of honor. This has been known since Enis Lobby.

And this notion he deliver an ally to an enemy is dumb. He knew Robin can handle herself. Stop trying to make it seem like she is this delicate flower that needs sheltering.

Zoro set aside his pride after he realized Luffy lost Ace his brother. And they all were defeated by Kuma twice.
Sanji throws away his pride against Germa soon as he meets Page One the weakest Tobi Roppo.

Not even bashing. There’s just levels to this shit.
Sanji put on the RS to keep him and the rest of his crew's anonymity even though he hated where the suit came from. And what is this notion that Page One is the weakest? What is this based on?

The situations are very different.

But.

Every strawhat knows that sanji will never be able to win against a woman. That's just sanji. So every strawhat (including robin) knew that sanji was facing off against a woman.
So what happened there?

Sanji knows that robin would be strong enough against black maria, so he trusted her, as a friend and nakama. And asked for her help.

As for the argument that he put robin into danger because kaido and bm wants to have her...

They are in onigashima, fighting against both kaido and bm. If they lose, robin is literally in kaido's hands. She has nowhere to escape and no one to help her escape. And not only her life is doomed but also the lives of everyone else fighting against kaido + bm (including luffy and co).
In this situation, what is the right choice to do?

Should sanji let himself be killed? Do you believe thaz robin would be safe then?
Or should he ask a friend for help, so that he can instead go and fight someone strong (for example king, queen or jack)?

Which of those 2 options would be the best for robins (and everyone elses) safety?

Ps. I don't like that sanji can't hurt women even in such extreme situations, but it is, what it is. So he made the right choice.

Luffy and Zoro were already exposed at that point. Hawkins knew that the strawhats arrived at Wano through fighting Law, and it is because of this Jack dispatched the Flying 6.

Originally it was Sanji who had beaten the Kyoshiro Samurai, not like he was protecting anything, it was his fault for starting it in the first place.

And if we are going to debate whether or not Page One is the weakest or not, then I think that's enough of my point breaching your headcanon.

Usopp ~ weakest crewmember according to Oda (canon)
Usopp fighting Page One
Nami fighting Ulti

But no you are right and Oda is wrong, Page One is the strongest Tobi Roppo. In fact he is the hidden Ace Calamity.
