One thing I don’t get is when people use the whole ‘natural born destroyer’ and whatnot to up-play certain characters. If anything, it’s kind of embarrassing to me that these people started with such a huge natural advantage, yet got surpassed or equaled by ordinary humans from ordinary backgrounds. Which is why I really want Zoro to stay as an ordinary man from the East Blue, it represents the true culmination of hard work and effort when he achieves top tier status and worldwide fame.

I’d also prefer if Mihawk was an ordinary guy, although given his level of syntax, it seems unlikely. I just really enjoy the normalcy of the middle gen swordsmen and Shanks’ journey from cabin boy to Yonko.
