Select few, GOOD theories do not represent the majority of the fanbase. Understand what I'm trying to say. Discussion was way more limited than just the typical Zoro vs King discussions this site, reddit and the rest of twitter were having for the past 2 years

there was that section of the fan base that depended on a cover page where zoro is eating ramen from a blow with dragon...that was very famous theory and had a good amount of support and the Ryuma and zoro parallels of then slaying dragons by beheading them that parallel was hyped alot.. with zoro's ashura eye theory..going around.. soo their was healthy amount of support to zoro vs kaido before hand

Some fans were anticipating before hand that after zoro beats king he'll go after kaido to join the fight with luffy..

Most zoro fans wanted the 1v1 with king. It wasn’t till 997 where people changed their tune for the most part.

Most theories were zoro and sanji vs king and queen just like little garden they would fight the two top commanders.

I only thought of Zoro vs Shogun.... but at that time I thought Kaido was the shogun too.

So here's another theory. The person the scabbards are seeing isn't Oden but his first born son. Because of Oden's womanizing ways before he met the scabbards he had a son he didn't know about. He met him during the 5 years when he was back from Roger's final journey and decided to share with him the ways to read and write poneglyphs which is why he never taught Momonosuke since he wasn't the first born.

Is this really what the spoiler providers were hyping up and didn’t want to show? A fucking fake Oden?
Even Toki showing up would’ve been more interesting.
