I don't understand this argument, Zoro has been steadily progressing in his proficiency with Enma throughout the Rooftop battle.

In Chapter 1001 he didn't use any haki at all in Rengoku Oni Giri:

After his attack, Zoro commented that he needed to unleash the sword a bit more:

He does make some progress. In Chapter 1002 he uses overflowing hardening with an Ittoryu technique:

In Chapter 1003 he finally uses hardening on all 3 swords, but only overflows it through Enma:

Maybe when next the fight resumes, Zoro will overflow his hardening through all three swords?

And as for damaging Kaido, Zoro already did that with Kokujo Ou Tatsumaki:

Zoro's Enma mastery has improved significantly during the Kaido fight. He doesn't need to fight King to master Enma, he's already doing that against Kaido.

He starts with Kaido and Big Mom, ends with Kaido and Big Mom. He's already shown himself as a threat to them, King would be a severe downgrade.

Relax...... Zoro can damage them but he's still no where near them in terms of combat, I wouldn't even say Luffy is anywhere near Big Mom or Kaido at this point. The supernova are still fodder against these Yonko 1v1 dont get shit twisted. Dont forget Kaido would have defeated Luffy in Chapter 1001, If Law wasn't there.

Nami is a comic relief character. She is not important to the story power wise.


The most important fighters of SHP are Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Jinbe.

It's overcomplicating a situation that doesn't need to be.

Zoro and King were literally facing each other 10 chapters back. There was all the potential setup for it. Zoro wants Kaido, King wasn't going to let him pass. Zoro had to learn to cut fire, King would provide him that.

But Oda, in just 2 chapters, solves both those issues, with Marco holding off both Calamities and Zoro already knowing how to cut fire.

And it was deemed imperative Zoro face off Kaido by chapter 1000, backdropped with Oden's narration of how significant this face off would be. That's way more build up than any of Zoro's fights besides Zoro's future fight with Mihawk.

If Zoro vs King was so important, wouldn't Zoro be fighting King by 1000? Oda had no issues setting up Franky and Jinbe's fights out of the blue. If Zoro were meant to fight King, it wouldn't be any different.

These hoops to make Zoro and King happen now are bizarre when a simpler setup was totally ignored.

While the power jump was big, it's not as bad as Sanji defeating a YC1 he was YC4 at most on Whole cake island.

This is a terrible take. Both Sanji and Zoro are ready to take on commanders. Hell, Zoro is on the roof top fighting Kaido with the other supernovas. This arc is designed to establish the Worst Generation as the big threats in the New World.

As for Zoro taking on King, again he is on the rooftop fighting Kaido. It's going to take alot to defeat Kaido with Big Mom on the roof. Zoro ain't leaving that fight. He is there to back up his captain.

I dont think Big Moms Heavenly fire would have defeated Luffy if reiju could endure it, But a clean Attack from Kaidos club would've definitely done the job. Thats why I brought Law up...... The point is there's still a massive Gap between the Yonko and the supernova. Kaido could have ended this fight in 1001 if he was serious and didn't let them just throw attacks at him.
