Theory Mihawk will die before fighting Zoro

#21
I don't see it happening. Even tho now they have a good relationship, they aren't family or in a relationship like the one that Luffy has with Shanks. It is just a bored top tier that wanted to train a guy with ambition to make said guy someone strong enough to entertain the top tier. Nothing else. If Mihawk doesn't fight Zoro in an all out it would be a shame for both of them. For Mihawk because he gave the title without going all out and for Zoro because he won the title against an opponent that restrained himself.

The goal is the title, not Mihawk. Whoever holds the title, it will be the same for Zoro.

Fighting on a random island while the rest of SH pirates were relaxing, without any tension behind it when Mihawk already lost his Shichibukai title, and without any importance other than Zoro's personal goal, (which he ignored several times for Luffy), and especially after knowing that both Mihawk and Zoro know each other very well due to Mihawk training Zoro for 2 years, and they won't be hostile to each other... This doesn't look like it will happen.

The first duel had a meaning, because;
- Mihawk was a Shichibukai, a hired pirate of the government, who is suppose to take down other pirates like Luffy and Zoro.
- Zoro and Mihawk didn't know each other, they met in the first duel, now they respect each other.

Second duel?
- Is non-Shichibukai Mihawk going to attack SH pirates? For what reason? Even if he did, we know Luffy alone can take down Mihawk, Mihawk won't be a huge threat to SH pirates like he was before Pre-TS.
- Zoro and Mihawk know each other very well, there won't be hostility.

If Mihawk was still a Shichibukai, then perhaps if SH Pirates fought government, it was a small chance for this to happen. But now, that won't happen as well.

The best case scenario, Mihawk joins Shanks, when Shanks fights Luffy, Mihawk fights Zoro.

Or Mihawk joins Shanks, BB defeats Shanks, Shiryu defeats Mihawk, holds the title, then Zoro fights Shiryu, Luffy fights BB.

Shiryu is fodder to Mihawk and to Zoro. "But-but he is invisible" y'all acting like CoO doesn't exist. Once he spots Shiryu it is a one shot lol.

Nah, I don't really buy the theory of Mihawk getting killed before Zoro to be honest. Like, what's the whole point of Zoro's goal and progress if he's not gonna fight Mihawk at the end? Like come on, that's just being a waste.
It would feel contrived, because you would probably need Shiryu to achieve the job in order to make it fit properly, and he's hardly becoming that powerful. Unless he was helped, either way somewhat shitty as a plot.

As long as Mihawk avoids Stairs-sama then I’m sure he’ll live to fight another day!

Oh and Shiryu of course but ESPECIALLY Shanks! Ghen he has good life expectancy

You do realize Zoro’s CoO is ass right?

QUOTE="Finalbeta, post: 1240188, member: 50"]I can see Shanks possibly dying by the hand of Teach, more probably after Luffy lends him his hat.

Don't see many odds Mihawk shall die however, a good plot would possibly see Shiryu killing him perhaps, but would it really be a good plot, it depends on points of view and how that would end up structured.[/QUOTE]

Mihawk was going to fight in the final war by siding with the government as a Shichibukai but it turns out to be he is being chased like a dog by the marines now instead and he has no where to go, perhaps he decides to chase fodders in East Blue again.

Mihawk will never be as important as Yonko thus he can't rival any Yonko in power. Not in Oda's series. Pretty sure Wano Zoro is very close to Mihawk right now, and he is a mere pawn of Luffy against any Yonko, he is currently no match.

Mihawk was shown fighting against the Yonko commanders before; he fought Vista and asked for postponement. Vista said its advantageous for both meaning that they were equals in that fight. And BB pirates (Shiryu) defeated WB pirates (Vista) in Payback War. Mihawk was always meant to fight against the underlings; Vista, Zoro, Daz Bones, and now it will be Shiryu.

Shiryu stealing the invisibility is a direct counter for Mihawk's hawkeye vision ability. The guy's name is literally ''Hawkeye'' Mihawk, if you neutralize his Hawkeye ability, he will be massively hindered. Giving Shiryu the diamond would change his offensive abilities since diamond can't add anything extra while moving, he would need to punch instead of cutting. Invisible sword slashes are more dangerous than a direct diamond charge attacks via whole body which is dodgeable.

Oda forehadowed the fight between Mihawk and Shiryu, now that Perona is searching for Moria, who will join BB, there will be another connection between Shiryu and Mihawk due to Perona. Read chapter 925. There's absolutely no reason to add Mihawk in that chapter when the chapter was suppose to show Shiryu's new power and it was suppose to be Teach's reaction to the current events. What was the purpose of showing Mihawk in that chapter when he was irrelevant to the current events unless Oda is foreshadowing the confrontation between Upgraded new swordsman Shiryu and Mihawk. If the intention was talking about the abolition of Shichibukai system then any Shichibukai could be shown as well, not Mihawk only and it wasn't even certain yet that was just a talk at the moment, it wasn't necessary, yet Mihawk somehow included in a chapter where swordsman Shiryu's new power has been shown for the fist time. I guess this is just a coincidence for some people.

Swordsman Shiryu already was hyped as Magellan's equal before. Yet people think the featless bald Gorousei should be superior to Mihawk, not the swordsman who was hyped to be Magellan's equal in power, this wasn't even enough, he also got the invisibility power up.

Why Mihawk's CoO is weak and instead he relies on his eyes? He couldn't even sense the defeated Baboons on his own island, he was surprised and worried when Zoro said he beat them. While Rayleigh senses every animal on an island and tells Luffy how many of them he can beat. Mihawk relies on his ''Hawkeye'' ability instead, you expect this guy's CoO will be top level... Not a chance. Invisible Shiryu will waste this guy due to having a direct counter for his Hawkeye vision.

We should also ask more people when it comes to Mihawk's obvious end, what do you guys think?
