In the midst of chapter 1010 and Yonko fans trying to downplay Admirals for not having conquerors unlike Yonko, let's take a look back at the discussion Luffy and Chinjao had at Dressrosa.

Context : Chinjao asks Luffy what kind of King he wants to be and Luffy answers "King of the Pirates"


First Panel : Chinjao establishes that there are countless Conqueror Haki users in the sea ahead and that being Pirateking means to be able to stand above ALL OF THEM

Second panel : Chinjao asks Luffy if he thinks he can topple the Four Emperors and the Navy Admirals and surpass Roger's legend (become Pirateking).

So Chinjao thinks you need to topple CoC users to be PK and then asks Luffy if he thinks he can beat the Admirals as well as the Emperors.

That basically confirms all Admirals are CoC users.

But in the Marines he can't be an ADMIRAL

But yes, vice admirals are too overpowered if we consider that Momonga will be a benchmark for VAs (not jobbers like Bastille) then it is very difficult to see how the power balance of the world can be maintained when marines + cipher pol + admirals that can terraform entire islands(!) don' just bulldoze over the yonkos. Clearly there is a cap and very likely AdCoC is just that, so it reigns in the admirals or they would simply be too overpowered. They already need to cap in on their powers, like how they told Kizaru to go easy on Sabaody and how Doflamingo told Fuji that he is not well trained as an admiral, that he was too excessively using his df power, etc). If they truly are allowed to go wild it would be a shitfest.

So again, how did Rayleigh escape light ability user Kizaru who could stall him in swordsmanship, why didn't he use his light ability to apprahend a wheezing and huffing Rayleigh? Makes no sense
