I think it would be cool if we made a Sanji development throughtout the manga thread.
Germa: Gave him misery and insecurities
Zeff and Baratie: Showed him nurture and let him develop his compassion
SHs: Gave him adventure and fun and happiness. They also taught him to fight for friends no matter.
Kamabaka: Gave him anxiety and depression which helped him become a mess post timeskip. Not only that but he spent it alone their, with no friends to help him endlessly getting chased.
WCI: The feelings he got with the 2 years of dread combined with Germa ( his nightmare past) , makes him feel useless and helpless. Pre timeskip is hard to remember when Kamabaka happened. However he finally remembers how Luffy is and that he will do anything for him and the crew. He then gives in and finally remembers the strength he had pretimeskip. Pre timeskip Sanji always fought full strength head on whilst post timeskip always want to be a distraction and hold them off and not defeat.

Also emphasis his integrity to his morals and the ideals Zeff imprinted on him, like how he fed Gin and later Linlin. As someone who knows the pain of starvation and acknowledges that leaving someone to such a fate is what his Vinsmoke family would approve of, Sanji is unable to go through with it. It's beyond him.

He did gave them Food tho...but just a second ago they were Talking About them being justice and the SH's being Evil, so they put a line between them and they should not cross it. The second after they started Eating the marines instantly crossed the line. It's not like Sanji didn't wanted to give them Food.
I hope Oda gives Sanji something decent to do after Wano. He had a shot, with O'Soba and the intel gathering portion of this arc to really replicate that Mr. prince greatness of Alabasta and Ennis Lobby but squandered it. So, my opinion is Sanji is going to be a gag character until he extreme diffs Queen.
If the next arc is Elbaf, fingers crossed he and Zoro's rivalry comes to an end, sort of close it out since it started on an island with Broggy and Dorrey and ends on their homeland too.

They had beef in Arlong Park as well tbh. Sanji has actually been nice to Zoro at times. Zoro I dont think has done the same. However seeing them handshake or at the very least smile to each other would be nice. Instead of being Tsundere to each other the entire time.
They need to show each other more trust and respect. It'll never happen again, but one of the reasons I love Long-Ring-Long-Land so much is that Zoro and Sanji have to cooperate in a shitty situation to win, and they do it. Just the two of them. There's gags and all exchanged between them but they are cooperating and showing faith in one another.
194 - 240 chapters left for Oda's projection? Yeah, I feel like Elbaf will be a pit stop sadly. We'll need another 50 minimum for Wano, and I see it going for 60 more chapters easily.
My only holdout is the fact that Oda is shit at deadlines. If he wants to end the series in 5 years, he might end it in 7. I said it a few times, but the man wanted us in Wano by 2017 lmao.
