Lol Dragon Kaido mid diffs King at worst i'm pretty sure a Dragon Kaido is not weaker than a memory less, Haki less and Df less bigmom who could destroy Queen who is about the same strength as King and how is King even going to hurt Kaido if he uses Armament and don't forget that Dragon Kaido probably has control over the weather too.

It's just that Luffy's power level is inconsistent, maybe because he isn't always serious. It's like back in water seven when he fought again franky and the carpenters, he looked like a fodder and then on enies lobby he was a beast.
Same will happen in wano. From one shot material for kaido to a tough fight.

Hopefully you're wrong. Mihawk vs zoro would be epic. Their first fight was one of the best, both were so badass.
Luffy vs shanks, it depends on shanks' goal I guess, he has become more mysterious lately. But luffy has to show that he has surpassed shanks at one point in the story.

To be fair, characters can block (and dodge and even tank) attacks from ones much stronger than them. Scaling Kuma to high yc level, and the pacifistas having his raw durability, it’s not that inconsistent.

Probably because they're meant to be stronger than preTS rob lucci?
