So to conclude the more reasonable double standard:
It’s okay for Oda to change Jinbe’s colour scheme from random colour scheme (pre-timeskip), to specific colour scheme (post-timeskip)
But it’s not okay for Oda to change Yamato’s colour scheme, which is based on 1 popularity poll where Yamato appears for the 1st time in a popularity poll.

°Does it look like Oda is using that color wheel? Yes especially considering the random Jinbe color.
°Is lime green available? Yes
°Does Carrot look lime green? Yes which means Carrot finally has ONE argument in her favor
°Does it guarantee Carrot or disqualify Yamato? No as seen with Jinbe, Oda slaps a random color scheme when the appropriate ones are taken
° is dizzy acting like everything is set in stone with Carrot and Yamato when it wasnt for Jinbe? Yes
As long as there’s people in here crusading to delegitimize Yamato like it’s the only way they can achieve orgasm, this is the only appropriate response to same. Oda clearly does NOT care about this shit half as much as we do, to pretend like this comes straight from the top and is the only viable defense against the obvious setup in the manga is as misguided as saying the anime is canon. Y’all have made clear you’re not gonna behave any better than you are now, so I’m just meeting certain folks with the same bad faith they’ve been spreading in this thread for almost a year

The way the goalposts keep moving further and further back - Yamato’s not gonna join, no clear role/MUH PRECIOUS PATTERN, she’s gonna die, her arc and motivation aren’t as important as Carrot’s, Pedro’s will is greater than Roger’s/Oden’s/Ace’s, now this color bullshit - we’re gonna reach a point where Yamato is shown as part of the crew on panel and we’ll still have people screaming their heads off about a false flag that is illegitimate in itself. If you don’t like being described this way, stop acting in a manner that makes it necessary
