You mean a muntjac? The teeth and horns match, although Yamato wouldn't look close enough to be a Muntjac Mink with those ears. But it's One Piece, the series cares less about animal accuracy.

I won't deny that Oda's gotten too lazy with Zoan hybrid designs lately. That's why I need to see the coloring to see if it's not just some prettier Mink design-wise. There's enough beastly design aspects at least to prove that it is a mythological creature than some random animal. As if he can't stop hiding Devil Fruit names like he's done with Kaidou for so long.

Only Dizzy calls her Yamao.

I find it funny how people are now using colors to discredit Yamato, when oda doesn't solidly a Straw Hat members' colors until they officially join. Didn't Yamato's color come from the new Databooks, which aren't even consistent for the other straw hat and one piece characters anyway?

Lmfao if people can discredit Yamato because of a colour theory then i can also discredit Carrot for the biggest elephant in the room, the alphabet theory.

Every Straw Hat who joined has a name starting from a different alphabet. Carrot already shares hers with Chopper, while Y is still free for the taking for Yamato.

:luuh:
It doesn't matter how many times they've proved you wrong...
Grefg already said one of the biggest issues when Oda created Jimbe was his official colours... And that before joining the crew...

So he decided to use the ochre as his main colour scheme...

That theory isn't accurate, I do not consider it as something needed...But still funny how y'all tried to invalidate it xDxD

Proved who wrong? The colour theory wasn't a valid theory in the first place. The Yamato deniers have had their theories disproven time and again.

Who's the one doing the invalidating here? The colour theory are the Carrot fans idea, and the theory was flawed from the get go.

Where has oda ever said what Yamato's offical colour is?

Color theory has been around for years. Earlier one I've seen was from early 2014. The Jinbe stuff shows that Oda does indeed care about the colors but it also shows that he'll use random colors from the color wheel and call it a day.

Seriously, Jinbe and that shade of yellow? Makes you wonder he didn't choose the purple or orange shade.

regarding colour theory, I have quite a theory about it and you’ve mentioned before. There are 2 shades of 6 main rainbow colors: red orange yellow green blue purple

coincidentally, the main 6 are 6 most human / normal looking crew:

Luffy Zoro Nami Usopp Sanji Robin

and for the shades part, it’s pretty much like “stronger” or “weaker”. Pink is “weaker” shade of red, like how Chopper is weaker than Luffy. Cyan is “weaker” shade of blue, and that’s why Franky is weaker than Sanji. Then we have Ochre, which is “stronger” shade of yellow, and therefore Jinbe is stronger than Usopp. Like you said each main 6 color has 2 shades:

Shades of red - Luffy & Chopper
Shades of orange - Nami & ?
Shades of yellow - Usopp & Jinbe
Shades of green - Zoro & ?
Shades of blue - Sanji & Franky
Shades of purple - Robin & ?

Brook’s color is Black & White because he’s the balancing of “stronger” & “weaker”

I've never considered the colour theory to be valid, but even if i were to pretend its true, i don't see how this would be a problem for Yamato. Yamato's colour scheme is most likely going to be white, and would contrast Brook's black.

Black & White has been Brook’s color. I think at this point, Yamato could be Vermillion. And as I’ve mentioned about the colour theory above, it makes sense since Yamato is “stronger” than Nami

Didn't even the human part lol. These are so many coincidences with the color stuff.

Teal could be used. Aqua blue? Navy Blue?

I also like Platinum.
Nah Oda appears to be using the color wheel for the SH, with Jinbe's random ass yellow shade being even more evidence.

There is no platinum and the 2 shades of blue are taken.
