you're trusting oda to do something he won't do...
Personally, i totally agree with you when it comes to Zoro actually facing Kaido as his next fight after recovering. The past 10 chapters have virtually spelled out that it's most likely King.
However, the
idea that Zoro could potentially use Wado (not Enma, that's key because Zoro has had it for far longer and Ame also cut Kaido, so Enma's capability to is not exactly unique), kill Kaido, and turn the blade black
could have additional merit. Zoro, a possible Shimotsuki, using his other Shimotsuki forged blade (technically Enma's real sibling) after 10+ years to "Ryuuma" Kaido could actually be a great thing. Kawamatsu would finally realize Zoro wasn't crazy about Ryuuma. Tengu may actually gift Zoro Nidai to upgrade his Sandai by the end of the arc. Zoro could also potentially "parallel" Momo in terms of both characters killing the monsters of Wano, with Momo using Ame for this exact reason against Orochi.
However, BIG however, it would have to be done in a way that does not supercede Luffy's victory. Wano AND the World needs to know that Luffy won. They would need to know that difference.
Basically I don't discount ZKK, if done well it could extremely good for Zoro's character (provided we learn more about his past soon) and for what it means to Wano. What I do massively disagree with is the idea that Zoro is going recover and rejoin the fight against Kaido. He already used everything he had for Kaido, he said it himself. He left that battle to Luffy.
But that doesn't stop him from using new/different attacks against King. It doesn't stop him from racing against the clock to win before the drug runs out. It doesn't stop him from being down until the absolute end of the battle where the ZKK moment could in fact happen.
Tldr: basically Zoro vs Kaido Round 2 and ZKK are 2 separate arguments that need to be addressed separately. The former I do not believe in at all, too many things disproving it as we speak, plus we'll know in the coming weeks. The latter
may have merit, but we need to see how Zoro's plot develops (his history with Wano and his lineage first and foremost) in the end.
