Oda power system is way too strange, he should have explained how an individual awakens haki, its advanced forms and etc. At this point, seems odd when someone that has not shown any form of haki suddenly awaken it via a cassual flashback. Im not a writer , but in my perspective, all the SH should have awaken haki (at the very least the basic forms) when TS happened so the grow of the characters had become more natural.
Anyhow, creating an always accurate and consistent power system is quite difficult feat to achieve. Only Nen seems consistent because Togashi actually explains it early on in HxH.
dude, thank you for saying this!

Well I'll wait for the full chapter. I still have a hard time believing Robin had haki pre-Wano, too many inconsistencies:kayneshrug:
It could turn out to be fake, but still not really inconsistent.
Robin sailed through the arcs so far, vs Diamante she literally held back and only protected Rebecca, so that Kyros could have his revenge.
Fishman Island she was flirting with Jinbe vs 50.000 and having fun.

It would be more consistent if she spent with Revos 2 years and not learning Haki at least in some capacity. With any other Strawhat without M3, it makes sense since they were in their own bubble and not know about Haki but Robin? Would be as bad as CP9 not knowing Haki, which was also nonsense.

Btw, the Momo part makes it more likely that it´s fake...

you're trusting oda to do something he won't do...
Personally, i totally agree with you when it comes to Zoro actually facing Kaido as his next fight after recovering. The past 10 chapters have virtually spelled out that it's most likely King.

However, the idea that Zoro could potentially use Wado (not Enma, that's key because Zoro has had it for far longer and Ame also cut Kaido, so Enma's capability to is not exactly unique), kill Kaido, and turn the blade black could have additional merit. Zoro, a possible Shimotsuki, using his other Shimotsuki forged blade (technically Enma's real sibling) after 10+ years to "Ryuuma" Kaido could actually be a great thing. Kawamatsu would finally realize Zoro wasn't crazy about Ryuuma. Tengu may actually gift Zoro Nidai to upgrade his Sandai by the end of the arc. Zoro could also potentially "parallel" Momo in terms of both characters killing the monsters of Wano, with Momo using Ame for this exact reason against Orochi.

However, BIG however, it would have to be done in a way that does not supercede Luffy's victory. Wano AND the World needs to know that Luffy won. They would need to know that difference.

Basically I don't discount ZKK, if done well it could extremely good for Zoro's character (provided we learn more about his past soon) and for what it means to Wano. What I do massively disagree with is the idea that Zoro is going recover and rejoin the fight against Kaido. He already used everything he had for Kaido, he said it himself. He left that battle to Luffy.

But that doesn't stop him from using new/different attacks against King. It doesn't stop him from racing against the clock to win before the drug runs out. It doesn't stop him from being down until the absolute end of the battle where the ZKK moment could in fact happen.

Tldr: basically Zoro vs Kaido Round 2 and ZKK are 2 separate arguments that need to be addressed separately. The former I do not believe in at all, too many things disproving it as we speak, plus we'll know in the coming weeks. The latter may have merit, but we need to see how Zoro's plot develops (his history with Wano and his lineage first and foremost) in the end.
