We already have carrot as nakama thread. We don't need another such thread. It can be discussed in that thread. So please merge this thread with that one

This isn't a Carrot thread, it's the next nakama and grand fleet threat. Believe it or not, people want to discuss things besides Carrot. Merging would be stupid.

Simple simple simple question. As per all shonen series, power levels do help dictate screen time. They're not the only thing to go off of, but generally speaking, you get boosted by them. You always have your exceptions like Nami & Usopp, but they've been in the crew since the start.

So, the simple question of it, if Carrot was as strong as someone like Nico Robin or even Sanji, would that help her odds of getting into the crew? She'd have more screen time and generally be doing more things and being seen as a reliable ally. Because Yamato is getting a ton of screen time and has solid chances of joining the crew too and I can't help but think the fact she's top 5 in Onigashima right now is helping out why she's getting so much screen time. She can do so much to effect the plot, whereas Carrot currently can't.

Or, does it not really matter? Is she doomed to be a side character forever and be forgotten after Wano?

Even if carrot were on same strength level with Sanji or robin it would not give her enough of a boast. Oda skipped her fight with Perospero. As well the fact there is not a lot of mystery or hints surrounding her character like how Nami and Robin were. In other words, there is not much of a backstory to tell regarding her relationship with Pedro nor does this arc feel like her own like the other strawhats. There also the fact Luffy and none of the other strawhats were willing fight for honor as character going against the main antagonists that personal affected her. Finally, carrot does not have additional move set worth talking about and her story would be done.

As I read in a previous post. Every Mugiwara have a sad past with a close character who suffered in that past.
My opinion is the next

1 - Oden left behind a lot of people with his willing. So a "oden follower" would join (For me is Yamato)
2 - Vivi right now has a reason for joining after reverie
3 - Carrot future is under Pedro life or death. So Pedro situation > Carrot future
4 - If a Oden follower joins. Another Oden follower won´t join. (Obviously)
5 - Oden is totally dead ? Yes. So he is over pedro survive situation. Oden death > Pedro life or death

In conclusion. A Oden follower or another follower of a dead character are better to join than a Pedro follower who maybe is alive. (In My opinion)

Nothing surprising here. This art just reflect the current showcasing of Yamato at the present time of the story. It does mean anything. Only fools would get blinded by that.

I'm not sure how much stock should be put in advertisement for Yamato joining? Is that a better argument than the correlation of a character's power level and their exposition in the story? Or... Yamato, hot oni female posing as a male, second strongest woman in the series and daugther of the Yonko Kaido, paralleling Oden, compared to Ace.. Female empowerement operation gold mine begin!!

I know that’s what you think, but my point is that Carrot didn’t get a rollout half as widespread during her introductory arc or at any point afterward, so she didn’t even get the amount of smoke that a character you and yours think will be contained to a single part of the story is receiving, don’t you think that’s kinda sad??
