Big Mom was never attacked by Wano Zoro or Luffy. I don't think that's a coincidence at all.
I don't think he made Vista out to be a serious competitor. Most of the battle Mihawk wasn't even looking at Vista or focus on him. Mihawk just wanted to see his potential to see if he could challenge him in the future. Remember, we told are he's waiting for a swordsman stronger than Shanks.

Mihawk is the strongest swordsman, above Shanks and has COC. Let's make that clear.
Zoro's journey to becoming the WSS is built on the bodies of fodder and people who have nothing to do with the title. Well for zoro , oda needs to write side story if he doesnt wanna weigh down top tier title under crew dynamics..

Oda at this point will probably not have his male main characters hurt a female again. Do I think, solo, Luffy or Zoro can make her bleed? Yeah sure. But she is insanely versatile and her new power up just changed the game, so I cannot say we're given the impression that they're ready to beat her even if Luffy can beat her right hand (comfortably with his new CoC) and Zoro will solo King.

I don’t think you understand Oda’s writing style in the least bit. Oda’s not going to just chuck Mihawk’s name into the narrative for no storytelling value whatsoever, rather he’s going to hype the WSS title through swordsmen like Oden and Ryuma. You seem to be under this misconception that WSS is a goal that people should be shouting from the rooftop, but that ain’t it. If you take up swordsmanship, you are automatically competing for WSS, just as how all men automatically fall under Whitebeard’s title and don’t need to directly compete with him for it. Mihawk will get his hype when it’s time, all of this started with you making yourself look stupid when you said that Oda doesn’t give swordsmanship any relevancy. Even dumber timing considering that Oda dedicated the entirety of last chapter to highlighting the kingly ambitions needed to be WSS and explaining the lore behind cursed swords.
Only very recently, huge chunks of the fandom took massive Ls because they couldn’t be patient and were too retarded to understand context clues and Oda’s setup. If you think WSS is Mihawk's Goal, why Mihawk is a pirate? He shouldn't have been a pirate if his goal was just WSS. You can be WSS without being a pirate.

WSS title is not limited to pirates. That's why it's called the World's Strongest Swordsman. Not the World's Strongest Pirate Swordsman (WSPS).
