I don't think Ousen is gonna lose in the classic sense, as he's someone who wont even start a fight without making sure he can win, but it will probably "lose" in the sense that he wont be able to do anything to Riboku's defenses and make any major progress at all, might even have another commander of his army killed, plus one of 6GG gets defeated completely.

if he would defend south kantan then Qin would have a plenty of supply because of the two cities and gyou
If he can make them March to the north and extend the battle the Qin would have a lot of difficulty to continue the fight
That's why Ousen wanted to create a grand army and sweep them in a huge strike
Otherwise the alliance with Wei would come to an end and Wei would immediately aid Zhao
When Qin is too weakend they can't conquer Zhao which would make the whole expedition caught up in flames

Biggest flaws of Ribokus strategies are he don't take political faction in consideration. Guess he didn't consult with other faction this time too. Specially knowing his relationship with king . And that's his downfall..
He is no doubt the best strategist but sucks in politics..
His plan is good on battlefield but once King and royals get the news of entire qin army is heading toward Gian. They will shit in pants , knowing their escape route is blocked and are forced to escape to West (in Riboku's area). They will think that Riboku is doing this on purpose..
