Big mom is a different beast.Doffy doesn't have the body of BM and Kaido.He is durable but he is not a freak.Kaido barely felt gamma knife,counter shock,injection shock.Re-read the Doffy fight and compare how much damage was done to Kaido.Shock Willow kills Doffy if it lands.

He landed most of his hits because of Shambles.He escaped Doffy and Fuji thanks to shambles,you think Doffy's awakening will land on Law easily?

Of course. Shambles is a short distance teleportation, and not something Law can spam either.
Meanwhile Awakening enables a city wide string attack.
Shambles escaping from Fuji was used as a trick, never in 1vs1, same to land Gamma Knife.
Only time he used it against DD, the latter commented he should stop the child´s play, and then also no Awakening.

So yeah, Shambles being relevant is not substantiated by anything.

Never expected Raizo vs Fukurokujo turning out to be the most epic fight of this entire raid.

I kinda made fun of it in the spoiler thread but I think Raizo is being metal as fuck here. It's an impressive feat of will to not give up despite being covered in flames. It was actually a pretty cool moment.

I expect a Raizo theme by the end of the week.

I wouldn't really consider it offscreening just yet. Let's see how much he dedicates to the rest of it.

Like for example, we didn't see Sanji fight Queen for plenty of chapters before 1022. We also saw the beginning of Zoro vs King until.l Zoro cut part of King's mask offscreen and King launched him out of Onigashima. Or like how Luffy vs Kaido was essentially offscreened for 10 chapters until last chapter, but still started at a point that felt fresh.

There are aspects to it that make it "worth" the offscreening because it gets us to the important moments, if they exist.


Basically, if Oda gives them a solid few chapters of fighting (with or without other scenes), then offscreening doesn't really matter at the end of the day, because what is important would be the substance from the next few chapters

I'm sure he'll give BM her due diligence along with Kid and Law before she goes down. The problem is it hasn't been given more than 6 pages in a chapter yet. I still think we are going to see some character development for both Kid/Law before they win, just like Sanji and Zoro. Maybe even some additional backstory on BM and Kaido

I actually like that bull attack from Kid. I'm just hoping that those horns are indeed covered in CoA.

And for that grim reaper part: I think it could have something to do with Hawkins. He might have created a certain setting with one of this cards that include all the relevant alliance members. Like if you get really near death, you have to take on a trail or some and if you pass, you get magically recovered. Turns out he secretly carried the alliance.

I don't even like that option myself, as I think it's toally farfetched, but every other possiblity is even more ridiculous at this point. Really do wonder tho, if Oda would really go the supernatural route. I mean we've got all that soul stuff, DF powers and such. Let's see
