Why are y'all so focused on the gag shit? Oh, a Strawhat is dressed as death and it's trying to attack another crewmate who is at the verge of death while ignoring the fact that he just left another crewmate who is the main focus of the CP0 behind, so funny let's laugh!
Bro some of the people on this forum forget haki is invisible unless you're using Hardening and think people aren't using haki in fights and then bitch about that. You're talking about like. Actually understanding the story and characters and why shit happens. This is too much for this crew to handle

Chopper says that Zoro is going to receive "many times over" the damage he had sustained before from Hakai. He can scarcely imagine what state Zoro would be in afterwards, as he was already completely paralysed even before the Mink medicine. He then pleads for Zoro not to die on them.

I think what is happening is that Zoro's body is confronting certain death, and Oda chose to make this allegory explicit by having Zoro come face to face with Death itself.

I think a route that Oda can take with this confrontation is: "Zoro will conquer Death itself to become the true King of the Underworld". Here's an example narrative scenario:

The Grim Reaper's scythe will "reap" Zoro and send him to the Underworld.

There he will fight against the Lord of the Underworld (Enma). He will triumph and become the true King of the Underworld.

Zoro will then return to the land of the living, triumphant and invincible.

By triumphing over the Lord of the Underworld (Enma), he may also have forged Enma into a Black Blade as a result.

And/or by conquering Death, Zoro's body may be fully restored to peak condition.

Zoro's battle with in the Underworld may be physical (as in Zoro's body actually disappears), spiritual (Zoro's soul leaves his body) or purely mental (Zoro hallucinates all of this). (Perhaps as Zoro's soul/mind battles in the Underworld, Zoro's body feels the full effects of the double pain and damage he took).

Regardless of the form it takes, the battle will signal Zoro's struggle with and triumph over Death and harken back to the declaration Zoro made all the way back in Arlong Park:

The Zoro who has triumphed over Death would be significantly stronger than he is now.
So much words and we all know nothing like that will happen ... not even close.

This is OP folks ...

Oda will just pull another gag explanation out of his hat here.

Writing is on the wall.

Waido is talking the W confirmed
I find it interesting that Oda is setting up that Kaido has a specific victory cry. I wonder why that is.

Also we'll miss you Grandpa Chopper:catsweat:.
Kinda noticed it too, pretty sure we hearing that soon lol.
Oda not set up this to not show it ever again, If viz translation also state this, I could imagine that we see that victory cry in manga.

He loses just like he lost in DR.
Lol,
Of course. Shambles is a short distance teleportation, and not something Law can spam either.
this isn’t DR anymore lls. Have u seen Law rooms since the raid?? Nothing short distance about his range. Hell he was able to dodge the Aoe of Hakia given enough time. Something 2 characters with flight, A FS user, an 2 fast character like Zoro/Killer couldn’t fathom dodging. An he’s been capable of spamming the ability since DR....
Meanwhile Awakening enables a city wide string attack.
How’s town lvl Aoe even remotely relevant to current Law??? Forget the huge Disparity in Aoe for a second. An the fact shambles directly counters doffy Multiple angle attack pattern. The main + of his awakening...

Unless doffy spamming CoA, Law can literally causal cutting through his offense or defense?? Even his multi angle attacks are countered by Laws 360 degree attacks, that can cut sea stone. Doffy awakening basically relying on CoA to save it from Law, only At this point there’s more indication doffy can’t stop Laws hax. Then there’s proof he can
:suresure:
Shambles escaping from Fuji was used as a trick, never in 1vs1, same to land Gamma Knife.
he was using it consistently to escape Fuji + doffy for an extended period of time. An does so direct in front of Fuji, an in combat with doffy. That’s an extremely weak argument ... GK Laws missing an arm, an fighting 2-1. No indication that attack ever needed prep.
Only time he used it against DD, the latter commented he should stop the child´s play, and then also no Awakening.
Consider the ability been upgraded to no longer requiring objects to switch with. Doffy old comments aren’t really all that relevant now... Law doesn’t need to throw something at doffy or catch him off guard. Hell this single Interactions enough to beat doffy. If Law can tag an react to Kaido. Landing attacks on doffy no problem
So yeah, Shambles being relevant is not substantiated by anything.
weird out look on the best mobility amongst high tiers

Trying to find new content to spend my time on these days, but it's hard kinda.
There's not much that looks interesting. Not even remotely.
I'm reverting back to my pre-covid days. I read mangas for a long time but I never spent that much time doing so or discussing it. The manga boom happened when Covid started. You spent more time at home and just look for anything to kill time. Now that shit is going back to normal I don't really care just roll around talk some and dip.

Prior to Covid boom I didn't even bother to read spoilers and sometimes I forget to read chapters on the official release. This shit ain't worth it.

I doubt many people will admit it and try to say "uh oh but I love One Piece" no you don't and you are lying to urself. What you log for to this forum is interactions with other people or just chatting shit with the homies about whatever topics u think at the moment.

Just call them Walfalgar d Wwater Waw and Weutass Widd, seriously this chapter was epic! Another Wings of the pirate king?? Their resolve is admirable. Worst part is the BM/Kid&Law fight not being more of the chapter and getting more focus in the narrative. Love seeing Zoro fight the final frontier, death. Hope to see what CP0 is up to and what DF the gorosei are after.

How’s a fight between a Yonko & 2 WG captains so damn boring?? I’m a damn diehard Yonko/Law fan myself, an this trash is almost completely uninteresting
:josad:

this fight a total representation of why one piece is so ass now.

3 extremely prominent characters can barely fucking get on panel time. In a match supposedly critical to the alliance success in the war. like what the actual fucks this idiot Oda thinking??

All 3 abilities have been completely ass, Meme a Yonko throwing out attacks that have virtually no impact!!! While I’m not even sure what the point of either Kids/Laws awakening is... shock whatever, ass in comparison to Laws odd moves. An kids literally doing the same shit awakening or not. Seem like they literally got the ability because Oda couldn’t explain them competing otherwise.

An all that’s without addressing Law/Kid have little to no connection to Meme to begin with. The fight has no drama at all, it’s just strong people fighting. One piece sucks ass right now
:josad:
man calm down. law's awakening is very creative. he's basically coating his sword with kroom (chrome) and can manipulate what he coats, uses anesthesia to make a painless incision but you lose your sensation and can't move, and then uses his "will" to shock big mom, because shock wille is a play on shockwave/ and german for "will". in my mind, not only does this awakening still play well on the medical theme, it's also haki related, just like how curtain (anti-biotic armament) seems to use armament haki. he's using 3 moves incorporated with haki techniques in one and it looks absolutely lethal.

he and kid are good, still getting up from yonko barrages

oda is kind of a hack for having law and kid fight big mom and giving it no back story or buildup whatsoever, though, ngl. of course he did the same things with all the fights this arc, including the tobi roppo, and yes, the calamities.

problem is oda thought it was a good idea to treat side characters like main ones (scabbards/minks/oden) and main characters like side ones (straw hat/heart/kid alliance/CP0/tobbi roppo/BIG MOM?) in the climax of the story. no one wants that crap. we want arcs like sabaody and marineford that focus on the main world character protags and antagonists.

Honestly speaking, the the three main characters in this chapter are more embarrassing than anyone would have thought.
Me too, from "watch me defeat Kaido" to "Don't let Big Mom go and help Kaido even if we die". Character development right there
yeah it is pathetiic this type of response. haters are sad to see that kid and law are putting in work and getting their shine. if you trash on them it's because you're mad. yall know well that they are allied with luffy, meaning they should do whatever they can to stop big mom. and theyre strong, because they have the resolve to stand up to her when in her first introduction people were getting their lives ended. theyre impressive af, as impressive as luffy right now.

From what I gather from the chapter;

- KROOM is kinda like a ROOM which Law can coat on his blade.
- He can extend the KROOM coated thing but there's a limit since he chose to leap onto Meme's back in ch. 1030 instead of just extending it.
- Anesthesia is the process of incision. And like the name suggests, it renders the target immobile once it touches given how Meme didnt move a muscle during both the incisions.
- Shock Wille is the actual attack and can create severe internal damage from the shock waves.

But the lack of creativity from Oda is apparent ngl.
Nah, I disagree. That one series of moves is more creative than some entire movesets no cap.
