Sometime I wonder if SHs will be the who operate pluton? or they will always stick with Sunny?
:choppawhat:

As we all know that pluton is a ship. A battleship. There should be a captain and someone who is behind the weapon. Which crew/people have the right for pluton?
:choppawhat:
Franky could design pluton as an upgrade to the sunny

I never said she will change her mind, but that there's the possibility she will change her mind, and there's evidence pointing out to it, such as the fact that she clearly cares a lot for Wano, and the fact that she is basically just having interactions with Momo, who will be the next shougun.
Franky and Nami were outcast characters that loved and protected their hometown too yet they still left when the time came. The priority in this story is good characters carrying out their dream regardless of whatever holds them back. Oden was able to achieve his dream of exploring the world despite being the next heir of Wano. Yamato will do the same since she definitely isn't achieving hers staying at Wano.
The comparison with Vivi, Shirahoshi, and Rebecca also still makes sense, because Yamato is in fact a young woman who began having a friendship with Luffy during the arc and is getting his help to deal with a problem concerning politics in an island.
Nami fits this too since Arlong took over her village. The big difference Nami and Yamato has with them is that they wanted to join Luffy. That's why this comparison doesn't work well. The only person there who had any interest is still considered a member anyway.
Another thing that I'm taking into consideration is the way how Carrot also wanted to leave her home and go have an adventure, and she sneaked into the ship of the Straw Hats to go together, implying that she wanted to join the crew.
Carrot wanted a field trip and packed enough for her to go to WCI and back. If she really wanted to join the crew, she wouldn't have made plans to come back before Wanda could notice her missing.

Both of the new recruits getting their expectations of Luffy met after Ace hyped him up nonstop :finally:

Yamato and Jinbe have a comparable amount of connections as Franky did with Robin back in Enies Lobby.
- Both fought and befriended Ace then grieved for his death in real time (since Yamato had his vivre card)
- Both knew Luffy ahead of time and were freed by him
- Both waited 2 years for Luffy to come to their island
- Both are part of a race with a bad relationship with humans
- Both left a yonko's crew and fought them 1v1 since they believed in Luffy.
It's only fitting that they join in the same arc too :goyea:

Do those who think Yamato will join see Yamato on Ace/Sabo level? I'll assume that is between an Emperor and Sweet Commander/Calamity.

If yes, that seems to throw off the power balance of the crewmates. Yamato would be only below Luffy which feels wrong. Zoro is the literal First Mate and Sanji is Zoro's rival. The wings of the Pirate King. The Monster Trio.

If no, where does Yamato fit in the crew? Between Sanji and Jinbe? After Jinbe? IMO, Yamato cannot be between Zoro and Sanji as that throws off the rivalry between the two of them.

You're assuming everyone thinks Ace and Sabo are on a level between commanders and Emperors. Subjective power scaling that differ greatly from person to person isn't an argument.

Power level here is irrelevant.

Oda can throw fucking Galaxy level character to the SHs if he wants to. But the problem is the background and how to make it with sense.

Yamato's power level is irrelevant. She will never be stronger than Zoro and Luffy.

She's only a threat to that blonde cuck.
