Another Deluded Yamato hater, that's not even close to her most character defining moment, 1016 was that moment. You say we bring up headcanon when we literally have a panels to prove everything we said in this forums thread, all the nay sayers are the ones with the most headcanon. Declaring her immeasurable honor and duty to momo? Literally a dozen chapters later she leaves him to proclaim what she set out to do along in 1016. For all we know she would only die for him because they are the only ones that know of his importance.

Are we literally letting a fruit define what a person will do with their life? All that fruit holds is a empty title, Luffy and Kaido were referred to as the same thing.

And we already disapproved of all the naming bs, Luffy will remember a SH's name when they officially join the crew.
For the record, you can ignore him. He admitted he’s here to “test” Yamato fans by provoking, only to play victim in the end by saying that Yamato fans have “emotional intelligence problem.”

So yeah, don’t feed the idiots or trollers. It would lower your intelligence level

Here’s what’s as obvious as it gets- Yamato is going on an adventure after Wano on Luffy’s ship.

She knows everything that is written in Oden’s journal. All he’s said about the dawn and opening the borders.

She’s chosen to take on all of that and Oden’s hopes and dreams

That does not require staying on Wano. This is a fact.

We know this because Yamato has read the journal, Yamato knows what is required, Yamato says she’s going to do it, and despite all this, what does Yamato still want to do?

She wants to go to sea

She wants to go to sea

She wants to go to sea

She wants to go to sea

She wants to go to sea

As a kid, right after reading the journal... She wants to go sea.

This story is going in only one direction, and it’s blatantly obvious that it’s not Yamato staying on Wano. She would not be dreaming and continually talking about going out to sea if opening the borders meant she couldn‘t actually do that.
You misunderstand. The purpose of Yamato is to abandon her dream and stay in Wano cause she's the guardian and they need her to protect it. However, she'll also go out to sea with Momo aka not stay in Wano to protect it. Read the story.

Momo the dragon
9 Scabbards who could knock an emperor out the sky
Scabbards who can take out high ranking government agents
Zunisha who can one shot a commander and their fleet
The whole mink tribe

Yet Yamato specifically needs to stay
So Momo, who has Kaido’s DF copy, needs Yamato, whom he met in less than a day specifically to train him while he has 9 scabbards (especially Kinemon), Hyogoro, Ashura, and basically everyone on Wano who knows Momo for his life; while also ignoring the fact that a gigantic elephant is there to help Momo, which means also basically whole Zou…

You forgot to include Tama's army which is basically composed of more than half of Beast Pirates' manpower...
hmm don't know about you but that's make Momo as useless as Orochi imo if he need Yamato to protect Wano just because he fear he can't protect the Wano citizens despite Momo got everything he need and he himself has a dragon df....

Against the Strongest Creature in the World and a slew of YCs, yeah…you anticipate Wano facing greater threats than the most dangerous pirates in the New World?? If so, *gestures to every other place Luffy and allies have liberated, none of which has been in danger since save the narratively important Alabasta*
The constant harrasment of the world gouvernement to annexe the country. That's what we call "a bit threat"'

I’m sure the hundreds of chapters developing Momo have been leading to him still being a wimp who needs someone else to fight his battles for him.

That’s great payoff to the time devoted to his inner turmoil and giving him a bumper power boost by turning him into an adult.
"Being a wimp" because I say that a manchild will still need help to figure out his future and strenght.. that's quite the incel culture here.

There is no shame in needing help, this is not "being a wimp" this is being courageous enough to understand the shortcomings to understand that being 8, we don't understand everything. This is what a great leader is supposed to be.

And now moving goalpost by expecting Zunesha to die while it has lived for over 1000 years, just to fulfill the headcanon of coping mechanism.

This is so much fun
:kailaugh:
I have always expected Zunisha to die. There is not a moved goalpost. And this one before we even knew that Zunisha was coming to Wano. The problem is that you don't take me seriously, so you don't pay attention to what I say. But everything here is all moving according to my plans:

It would be a shame for the story of One Piece to twist your expectations ? Right ?

I'm sorry but Dizzy is right here. The real defining character moment for Yamato was not when she choosed to fight her dad, her character had already been defined by that point. The real cahracter defining moment was Yamato standing up for Momo. That's why in fact Oda choosed to end the chapter on her saying her real name. You can't counter storytelling, it's rock hard.

Concerning the name, nothing has been disproven. The story clearly state that Luffy don't remember a name when the strawhat join, Luffy remember a name when the strawhat gets enough respect for him. That's why Brook's name was remembered VERY early by Luffy. Why ? Because Brook made him reformulate.

In the case of Yamato, she also went for a reformulation (and with frustration) and Luffy still don't remembered her name.

And you can check this works for Chopper and this works for Franky too.The story is crystal clear.

Imagine the fun if Carrot had actually done anything worthwhile
Just wait a little bit longer. You will soon start to ask me for the weither.

I already explained that choosing to stay with Momo was not about giving up her dream. Their is adventure, plenty, for Yamato in Wano. She could even be there as a long distance combattant for the country and Momo, so sailing out to sea is not out of the question.
