He "bet" his arm on something we really don't know about. Ofc he doesn't want Luffy to die. He wants him to do something.

However letting the WG know about this power has pretty dark implications because Luffy would eventually fight them anyway as he's had and probably will after Laugh Tale.

not really what is confirmed that Luffy's is back with overpowered DF named liberation DF that can free him from any harm and any restriction. and his drums will free Zoro from his pain and maybe even death since i think Zoro is fighting death right now. he will free Sanji from the effects of Germa's modification as well. Luffy's DF is the liberation DF and does what Luffy always does he frees people.

Luffy needed 3 advanced haki powerups and a literal Godmode Fruit to win. Kaido is definitely on par with Roger and Prime WB, if not stronger. I don’t care what anyone says, he’s done more than enough to prove it.
