There are two things I want from Carrot with this potential plot thread.

1. Actually be useful in some way when it comes to everyone vs Kaido. She does not have to actually deal damage to Kaido, just be useful in some way.

2. Interact with Strawhat crew members. This plot thread could potentially answer a lot of questions regarding her future. If she does nothing but sticks with the other minks then that'll give an idea of what's going to happen with her.

Spoilers sound like she's gonna stick with the Minks since it's her, Wanda and Nekomamushi who say that they're gonna fight too

Inherited will is not the same as being a reincarnation of someone who was born years ago. The theme of Inherited will is great because it allows people who aren't related to have the same ideals due to their lifestyle and ambitions. This is why Ace's death was so good - Roger's bloodline ended but his will was carried on by people completely unrelated to him. Being a copypaste of someone born years ago just robs the actual character of any agency.
But this is just all speculah based on what Zunisha said, so it can still go down the route of inherited will, which is fine. Reincarnations are not fine though.

Let's just wait and see. I don't think direct reincarnation is what is happening here, but who knows

Not really, I kinda expected Luffy to lose. Luffy held it down better than I expected. Kaido is the WSC and Luffy went toe to toe with him better than anyone from the alliance could ever dream of. Replace anyone with Luffy and Kaido merks them without even using hybrid. Kaido had to use fs+adcoc+hybrid to beat a distracted Luffy so I don't really mind this loss tbh. You already know my stance on g4 especially boundman. Shit is just for show I swr

He far away pllus he didn't know where croco went without coo finding him would take time as it did.

Kaido a is just in the lower floor , a humongous drunk Oni plus Luffy has great coo.

So both scenarios are way different .

That's a good point, but I'll give it a few chapters after the fight actually starts and see what happens. Who she interacts with during this big moment will be key in general. But I do feel that this fight might be the moment Oda gives a hard answer to whether or not she's joining.
