When has Luffy ever said this? Luffy isn't batman, he is a pirate. His idol, shanks, had someone murdered before his eyes in chapter 1. Anyways even zoan fruits have their limits.



A lot of this is just zoro fan headcanon. Zoro fans just exaggerating the importance of their favorite character.

Fact is, Luffy is Kaido's greatest rival, not Zoro. Kaido is a fake joyboy, Luffy is the real joyboy. Being joyboy is tied to being the strongest and creating great change in the world. At least that's what King's flashback hinted.

The haters are funny. Zoro getting up is bad writing but anybody else getting up or magically obtaining awakening isn't.

Add also that they're mocking Zoro for not going against Kaido in this chapter while we already know that the characters that went against the Yonko this ch are there merely to stall him.

Zori is not meant to merely stall him, he's booked for the grand finale

The question now is to know if the Joyboy awakening would be something Oda would only show when Luffy is engaged in an intense world class battle or if it'd be permanent

If it's the former, it could potentially allow future opponents to stand a chance as long as Luffy fights at his regular lvl, and avoid getting stomped by Joyboy's awakening, maybe until fighting stronger threats like Blackbeard / Imu

If it's the latter however, good luck to any future opponent not named Blackbeard / Imu

Kite is dead. He was reincarnated as a Chimera Ant like various other characters within the series before him. As he was eaten by the Queen.

Just this arc we’ve had:

- Orochi death fakeout
- Scabbards death fakeout
- Ashura death fakeout
- Kiku death fakeout
- Kinemon death fakeout
- Izou death fakeout
etc

All of OP is just dumb af fakeouts.

this is not MF, cake island was not MF either.

Zoro used Asura but it was clear he was affected by the damage he took by Hakai, also he didnt get KOed, meanwhile thats not the case for Luffy who keeps getting knocked out uncouncious but gets up with no damage everytime.

The same folks who claim post GK Doffy is equal to pre GK Doffy are the same who claim that Hakai didn't affect Zoro's combat performance 🧐🤔
