C4N be like this is proof that Carrot joins the Strawhats, Luffy represent Toon Force and Carrot Bugs Bunny.. Its all in the subtext and Carrot's character arc culmination..
@Pot Goblin So umm.... Luffy is shown jumping higher and faster than Carrot. Along with that, there isn't a single panel of her reacting to his awakening.

Bon Clay is a dark horse. On one hand, he's definitely got the relationship with Luffy. On the other hand, he would still need a decent ammount of development to join the crew, and his fighting style is just Sanji but worse. I'd believe in him more if he showed new stuff in impel down as far as combat or if he was in Wano somehow, but I wouldn't rule him out.
I was joking, don't take it literally, I thought about Bon Clay at the moment.
His character is good, he just needs more bonding with the SHs, he's a bit annoying because he's an Okama but that's it.
Well Sanji did learn from the Okamas. I wouldn't call it "worse" because he's a good fighter and he proved that in Impel Down, I would say pre-time skip he's stronger than Sanji. Post time skip, Sanji>Bon. Also it doesn't matter if he has the same fighting style, Brook is also a swordsman, Nami and Franky can steer the ship yet Jinbei is the best because he knows the seas. Everyone can do almost everything, but they're only best at one profession.
If you think about it Clone fruit is actually what won the internal politics in Wano and what made Orochi shogun. Bon Clay spying for the SHs on every mission they go for intel would be a big plus.
Point proven I forgot about this because it was a long time ago. He thought he would bring Doflamingo on his own dying without ever seeing his crew again.
I'm not "name" calling you. It's the impression that you gave me.
Luffy forcefully took Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Franky because HE wanted to. Because he needed a right man, a navigator, a cook, a doctor and so on. Luffy can turn anyone on his side as an ally, that's true, but if he wills to, he can make anyone be under his leadership. Luffy is glue that sticks the SHs together otherwise they would disband.
In the spirit of actually moving on, Luffy showed a lot of interest in ninjas. It didn't quite get to the level of his interest in having a musician, but enough that I did think Oda was going to have a ninja join. Tama is the obvious choice, with her desire to leave, her connection to Ace, her bond with Luffy and then the rest of the Straw Hats. She's shown she's pretty shrewd, coming up with the plan to use Big Mom to break into Udon as well being a major contributor to the raid with her Devil Fruit. The only thing really holding her back is her age, but we now have Shinobu who could take care of that problem. Luffy taming beasts (Kung-Fu Dugongs, Kraken, the animals at Rusukaina) also renders her Devil Fruit pretty redundant. Of course, I think it's far more likely after the raid that she starts being tutored in being a kunoichi by Raizo and Shinobu and remains in Wano both to fulfill her wish to see Momo become Shogun and Luffy's promise to make Wano a place where she'll never go hungry. I just think Shinobu being able to age people up gave Tama a slight bump in her chances.
That being said, I would have actually liked Raizo or Shinobu if a ninja was going to join since either of their Devil Fruits combined with ninja skills could actually have led to some interesting fights. Personally, Yamato's Devil Fruit killed quite a bit of my hype for her. A mythical Zoan could have been cool, especially since so little is known about the Makami so its unique ability could have been anything. I don't get why Oda decided on just slapping on ice powers. That just feels underwhelming. If I had to guess, it's supposed to contrast Kaido's fire (and if she joins and fights Catarina Devon, her potential foxfire since she's a Kitsune). I would have rather had a Paramecia since that at least means some random power that can be used creatively. The most creative thing Yamato has shown so far is ice armor.
I don't think anyone is joining after Wano, not even if we go to Elbaf since I think Hajrudin and his group basically "covers" an Elbaf recruit but we'll probably get a few people sailing with the crew afterward. Yamato either as a crew member or just the new Law/Momo/Kinemon who gets involved in the next big plot going into the final war, Marco to get him back to his village while also giving Luffy and crew a chance to go to Ace's grave and deal with the Weevil subplot, and Caribou since Luffy said he'd take him and to deal with whoever Caribou wants to pass along the Poseidon info to. Law I could see leaving, but he still needs to find out what the Will of D means and hasn't shown much interest in being Pirate King. It's a toss-up at this point whether or not he sticks with the Straw Hats. I could also see him taking up hunting Poneglyphs for Robin in exchange for info on the Will of D when the crew learns it at Laugh Tale.
I have 3 guesses:
-Combatant(Zoro also has this one but he is also listed as swordsman so maybe he sticks to just that one)
-Ship guardian(since she is a guardian deity, only problem is that unless she has some power that allows protection of tge Sunny remotely it would go against ger character to be stuck in the ship)
-Apprentice(weird since she is an adult and strong, but Kaido was also an apprentice and stayed like that up until he was 21, so you can have adult apprentices)
I think Blackbeard will invade Wano for whatever reason Kaido is interested in Wano (and not other islands) right now.
The guardians will face the invaders. Devon the mighty Kyuubi defeated Yamao the guardian dog.
Later it will be up to Nami to avenger her fallen clone.
Blackbeard surely wants his pickings of Mythical Devil Fruits gathered in Wano: Nika, Azure Dragon, Phoenix, 8 Headed Serpent, Makami, Onyudo!!! Big opportunity for Devil Fruit hunters.
Since this is the Grand Fleet thread too. And people thought its gonna be the GomuGomu fleet, aka 5656 members. Is it now the HitoHito fleet, and we gonna get 110110 members?
It's weird thinking about it now. It's still Gomu for now since all this real time has passed and Luffy still is a rubber man. IMO there has to be more members to be recruited under the 7 divisions, unless an added special division, but HitoHito (110110) may be too much compared to say Gomu Rei Gomu (56056) to keep the Gomu pun. Or mix the two as GomuHito (56110) or HitoGomu (11056).
...now that I look at it, I'm loving the idea of the GomuHito (Rubber Human) Grand Fleet!!!
Monkey D Luffy vs Marshall D Teach
Roronoa Zoro vs Diamond Vista
Nami vs Catarina Devon
Usopp vs Van Auger
Vinsmoke Sanji vs Shiryu
Tony Tony Chopper vs Doc Q
Nico Robin vs San Juan Wolf
Cutty Flam vs Jesus Burgess
Brook vs Lafitte
Jinbe vs Vasco Shot
Pedro vs Avalo Pizarro

1. You shouldn't name call people you don't know, anybody here knows I'm far from a blind fanboy and Law isn't even my #1
2. The only guy he forced was Franky, the rest while they initially rejected him were won over by Luffy. Also if it's up to Luffy Law would already be part of his crew, he has called him his nakama a couple of times already.
Anyways this chapter parallels with 479: Warrior of Hope. That's the chapter where Nightmare Luffy knocks down Oars, the following chapter was Oars vs SH including Brook. We could maybe get a glimpse of the final lineup if the events play out similarly in the next couple of chapters
@Roo Is definitely one of the more level headed fans on this forum. More than most of my fellow Yamato fans tbh. Anyone calling him a fanboy and claiming bias doesn't know him very well.

Anyways, If Yamato joins and she does brew Sake, I'm afraid there wouldn't be much chance to show that, it would be reserved for either after battle parties or something. So it should really be just considered a hobby instead of a role.
You're not suggesting Hiyori will join the crew are you? That made some degree of sense early in Wano, but the arc is almost over now and she hasn't met even a single strawhat criteria.
Samurai lady. She's played the pretty dressed up lady for 20 years, as a hidden identity, which many characters have had this arc/Saga. She can go back to being her tomboy self.
Tragic backstory, role, dream, Luffy defeating their villain (arguably, I'd say hers is Orochi), pirate king moment, interacting with Luffy, or even having an interesting ability. Hiyori doesn't even have one of these.
Tragic backstory. We have one.
Role : geisha
Villain: orochi and kaido ofc. This chapt orochi even said that even if he die, there is still kaido
Dream: I'll elaborate later
Pirate king moment and interaction with luffy can come later
Interesting ability: playing shamisen, in color spread she dance (with the folding fan), trickery, acting performance
Most geisha kanji literally mean
Gei - trick, professional, art performance, or some other kanji say singing, dancing
Sha - person

It's at the point now where she's probably fucked, but I want to still see where it goes. The last couple of days have been really exhausting for me so I'd rather not think about this right now.

No. She doesnt has pirate king moment for now. But she has the dawn moment that is in this chapter. Back to back. I would not think too much about it when plot doesn't demand that flow at the moment. But alteast, toki also said something about "you the moon who doesnt know the dawn"
She might have pirate king moment later. Because she know what pirate king mean. She know the past pirate king, Roger

The thing is like I said previously, Killer's sacrifice for Kid didn't gave me the same vibe nor that I even thought of it as a parallel when Zoro stood up for Luffy to take all the pain so that Kuma would spare him. Zoro's sacrifice for Luffy on Thriller Bark is the best thing I've seen in the series. Except for Kuma and Zoro, nobody else knows what happened that day.
Off-topic but Sanji never showed the same dedication for Luffy as Zoro even though I want to call Sanji as Luffys left man.
After the incident with Usopp trying to leave the crew, Zoro stated that IF anyone tries to leave the crew again, that he would call it quits and leave. Something that happened on WCI with Sanji. If Zoro were to find out somehow, he would honestly slice Sanji in pieces and perhaps call it quits. I wonder if it will get revealed but I doubt something like that would happen.

Oh look, someone arguing with logic instead of delusion! I didn't think of some of this. You've convinced me to consider her. I still think she's in a rough spot for two reasons though. Not meeting Luffy until the party seems iffy, and she hasn't been shown fighting. If she's secretly super strong and connects with Luffy really well, then maybe. But her story ends in Wano, so if something happens it has to be fast.

No I don't know him and anyone else here. Like I said it's the first impression that matters.
Bro It's almost word 4 word the same letters use lol. It is a parallel.
And I don't think Zoro would've cared that much. People forget Zoro literally let Usopp and Luffy fight and his main problem was Usopp acting like nothing happened. Zoro would've let Sanji and Luffy fight but probably demand an apology from him when he comes back

I think he would have cared. Well he did let them fight because he doesn't want to bud in knowing Zoro, perhaps he would have done the same thing with Sanji vs Luffy but I doubt he would've let it go as easily with Usopp.

Are you just rooting for her to join or do you think the story is actually building up to it? Cause Oden being a pirate and having a moment related to the dawn doesn't equate to her wanting to leave Wano with a character she's never cared about in 100+ chapters.
