This doesn't invalidate the fact that the bounty of the captain directly affects those of the subordinates. Far from being irrelevant, how Oda explicitly states that this happen often (not always) basically debunks your statement. If this happens often and was stated with regards to an Emperor's crew, then it is undeniable that the Calamities will be more expensive than the Sweet Commanders as long as their captain is.
You're calling me hater for stating the truth...whatever. Zoro will never be able to beat Katakuri and I'm sure Zoro will get help when fighting vs. King. Zoro's power up will not suffice, he needs support.
If Luffy beats King, he will be way ahead of Zoro and Sanji. The captain is always way stronger than his crewmates. So, just because Luffy will beat Kaido, doesn't mean that Zoro is going to suddenly be stronger than Katakuri. That's nonsense.

I mean...it’s possible that people like King’s design and powers or others are simply overhyping Katakuri, y’know? I get that people like the guy, but there’s nothing that points to him being stronger than any other top Yonko subordinate (“YC1/YFM”) other than the fact that Luffy fought him. To turn it around, aren’t the people who are downplaying King just wanking Katakuri and/or Luffy?
