I was thinking the exact same too but after seeing how many pages Oda dedicated to dealing with the fire in 1046 now I'm convinced that he wants to stall for a bunch chapters more and end the raid around 1060

Remember that only like 4 pages are really about Raizo. The rest are just updates on the crew, Killer, Apoo, and Bepo disguised under the fire issue. It's also a pretty awesome Jinbe flex too lol

I agree that it may take longer though, we'll definitely see.

Because they already had their fights guys.... Kaido isn't Oars. Wano isn't Thriller Bark. Kaido vs Luffy is the climactic fight. There isn't any set up "team" battle waiting to happen. People are on their last legs.

well i disagree kaido is the wsc and is still proving this and there is literally a team battle waiting to happen if kaido gets back up after luffy ko him with awakening which should be totally expected because of chap 544 how you can be blind to oda dedicating panels to have the strawhats getting back and just think that luffy is about to beat kaido and thats it lol

None of the strawhats can actually do anything to Kaido at all and at most would be a distraction to both Luffy AND Kaido. If they jumped in to the fight it would be a liability to Luffy. A team up fight with all the strawhats is not happening

A mindless beast is not the same as Kaido. Yes he’ll be insanely powerful, but he’ll lose stuff as well. Observation haki for example requires concentration

Weird flex but OK lol. It's going to last longer than you think. It always does. Even the editor said the series has 20-30 volumes left, last year. That's 7-10 more years lmao

I don't actually care either way, you said "nuh uh it'll suck if that happens." It already sucks so what's your point? Lol. If it's a weird flex it's because I'm not sure how you actually expect me to respond. I'm pretty sure the rough idea is 120 volumes, given Marineford being a radical shift as the halfway point leading to the timeskip and other little things like that. But clearly no one really knows, even if we're going by Oda and his staff.
