Should the coach system be removed?

I don't know what's the current problem that escalated to this or if there's any. I don't know why people are asking for coaches to be removed, I don't really understand the downsides of it, but I just wanted to say that there should be coaches mainly because usually balancing a game isn't something a new host is able to do very efficiently - specially if it's role madness or whatever- and if I were to play I would really hate it if the game is unbalanced.
I don't really know how far a coach can go here in terms of interference in the game but yeah I would make it to be minimal, and in regards to bans I would rather have the coach suggest the ban to mods (Al & Drago) then mods would reevaluate the issue and judge by themselves.
-------

As for other suggestions: I suggest a new system for turbo games. make a poll, ask for the most suitable time during the week and set it. run a turbo game weekly in that time; make it scheduled so it doesn't hurt activity in other games. if there's a big game going in that week e.g weebs or if there isn't enough players signing up that week; fuck it, cancel that week's turbo game. but the idea is to keep it running weekly so that everyone knows WG should have a turbo game at - specified time and day - weekly
I also suggest forcibly setting a horse avatar for the MVP of each week's turbo.

oh also, people responsible for this section should sit down together and discuss what they want out of this, woot. more players? yea? then about how many. do you want players that can ruin other's experience? then who are they and would banning them hurt the community? blablablabla
to sum up set a goal and see how you can achieve it, it has always felt like you guys are reacting to shit that happens instead of having a plan and acting towards it.

It will reset the poll I think, let's leave it as it is. Don't worry, I'll make the poll and take your opinions
Why don't you all use polls to decide what punishment should be given.

I mean no matter whether you have coach system or tribunal or Mafia Government ultimately it's about handling the mess.

So why don't you all make polls whenever you have something to decide like punishment like in case of mid or JG?

Eh that kinda resembles public shaming in a way. We won’t be doing that

Mafia coaches should exist to help new hosts, I do not think they need to have the added power to ban players from joining a game from a certain time frame. That should be left up to the host themselves rather they want a player or not. All you can do is heed a warning to a host of a players disruptive play style. If the host doesn't care then at that point it should be left alone, let the host deal with it. If they do care then the player should understand why they can't participate. WG has a better Mafia community than NF by a mile but it's strict nature and lack of friendly Mafia game options like threadmarks really dial it back from it's full potential

To make it more clear, none of the coaches have any sort of power to ban or restrict players.

Every decision made is within the consideration of taking every coach opinion into account, so the one who announces the ban doesn't necessarily the one doing it. It's the case discussed by everyone including a mafia mod.

The prob with that is your excluding newer hosts from these discussions. If you guys decide to ban someone for a certain amount of time that's fair but it should be only limited to the these coaches games. I'll use myself as an example, though by WG I'm one of the newer hosts I've been doing this longer than most of the approved hosts. If I want to include one of these rascals who you coaches want to punish or teach a lesson in any other site I'll be within my rights to just add them no questions asked.

Here I think is kinda unfair for someone else to decide whether a player can participate in my games or not considering I was not part of these discussions. When one of your own mods natalija says she wasn't part of the discussion concerning Joygirl- or even agrees with the choice it says alot . It goes with what I said earlier that the hosts hosting a game should decide whether a player can join or not. Mafia coaches should be advisors, helping newer hosts work on their craft, if ya want to use Mafia coaches to make game events, prizes, award shows or a stats thing that's where Mafia coaches would be greatly needed

Anything further then that is only gonna alienate players or potential new hosts
