Speculations Who will defeat Big Mom?

I have 2 theories.

1. Kid and a group of SN will team up and defeat BM with Kid being the one to get the final hit and most of the limelight. Kid, Killer, Hawkins and Urogue.

2. A marine admiral (Greenbull or Kizaru) will come with a bunch of VA’s and they will team up and defeat BM, Obviously the Admiral will win the fight with only minor injuries due to him having back up.

3. Luffy defeats BM in Elbalf in a 1 v 1 fight. This will be Luffy final fight before his long awaited fight against BB.

How is it fairy tail level if Luffy had two whole weeks of training before taking on Kaido for the second time. This is literally how almost every single fight based story goes down.

• protagonist faces antagonist and loses badly
• protagonist works hard to become stronger and overcome weakness

Kaido massively outclassed him two weeks ago. Since then Luffy has increased

• his base strength and physical abilities
• his CoO
• his CoA
• his mastery over G4

How would it be "fairy tail writing" for Luffy to be able to match him after all he went through? And mind you I never said Luffy would win without help. Luffy has gotten help in every single fight post-skip and I'm sure he'll get help again with Kaido. However what I do believe is that Luffy vs Kaido will be, for the most part, a 1v1. With any help being minimal; see: Luffy vs Doffy, Luffy vs Cracker, and Luffy vs katakuri.

But the very fact that Oda has stated in interviews that Luffy will defeat Kaido indicates that it will be mainly Luffy, and not anyone else, who will beat Kaido.

Luffy is still going to get a ton of help. Even more help then he did against Doffy and Cracker. I don’t care about his training.

2 weeks of training doesn’t take you from YC1 all the way to being Yonko/Admiral tier. What’s likely going to happen is Luffy will get heaps of help and that’ll make Kaido weaker then Luffy will get another P.U (like awakening) then Luffy will defeat the heavily weakened Kaido.

Oda is portraying kidd and law and they will have equal effort in taking down kaido, the same with other SNs who will help out too. There is no way in hell luffy is soloing kaido for the most part or else it is indeed very very very bad writting. Im sorry im not ok with my MC to plot powerup significantly out of nowhere. All the other times luffy did the formula you said he was equal or stronger PHYSICALLY than his foes and had to figure out a way to beat them. This time he just got straight up trashed at his strongest, IE physical stats.

If it was going to be like this, then why did Oda choose to include big mom in this arc? Oda isn't going to have big mom in order for her to get quickly swiped off screen. This is the second arc she has been in. Big Mom will get a satisfying defeat and that can only happen if Luffy can hold his own against Kaido in a 1v1.

Luffy was already called "fifth emperor" by WCI's end. The point of wano is for Luffy to prove that he is not only the "fifth emperor" but also the successor of Roger.

Would you not agree that current Luffy is already a low top tier? How big do you think the gap is between Kaido and Fujitora?

He took on big mom one week ago. Since then he has gained the ability to use ACoA. Are you telling me that gaining CoA on the same tier as Rayleigh isn't going to make a big difference?

Revolutionary army knew about the present situation at Wanokuni and they heard about the colaboration of 2 emperors which could be great danger to the world and also for Luffy. I bet there is a chance for BB and shank to appear there after luffy and co. beat Kaido.

1) When Luffy fought Kaido he had NO observation haki, as he thought he crew were dead and was not calm. You have to be calm for observation haki to work. Go and read chapter 884.

2) When Luffy fought Big Mom in Udon, he never used Advanced Armament Haki until chapter 955. From chapter 947 to 955, he was working on learning how to use Advanced Armament Haki.

Old man Hyougoo aid when Luffy mastered it, he would be able to stop Big Mom's attack completely.

Mate i was countering his argument that luffy got stronger in base stats and all that with his training, yet it didnt matter because big mom punted him across the fucking prison. I know about Fs which will be usefull in his fight against kaido, as well as now his penetrative haki that he trained for a few days. But lets not act like this will take him from fodder to peer. He is in an alliance for a reason.

The agenda im seing is yours, but its wishful thinking if you really think luffy can now solo kaido. It would be bullshit of the highest order.
