The problem starts from fans who had overexpected things from oda.

To be fair, the way how Oda and his team hyped Kaido(with statements in manga, magazine or other stuff), I think the fans had all right to expect more of a saga boss, we don´t talk her about a simple arc boss, we speak her about the strongest creature who was build up since 10years, who one shot Luffy in Kuri with a single hit. The fans did alright, nothing wrong to expected from the strongest Yonkou to have more then just a hybrid form.

good question. having him dead would be ridiculous after introducing him like a god and say that he cant even kill himself but Oda has proven that he doesnt apply logic. He does what he wants.

There were some hints that we would see a defeated Kaido going crazy because he wouldnt accept his defeat. Like Kaido talking about accepting defeat etc.
It would be kinda ironic but well, whatever.
Wano is really a low tier arc.

I don't think you guys are being fair here.
Kaido used multiple elemental attacks, he has the fastest attacks we have seen in the verse yet (his Baguas) and in the end he even showed a final supreme form for him that didn't happen for most villains in the series.
He fought for 60 chapters against 15+ people, Oda won't kill no one so there's that you may be disappointed on how he was defeated but he showed enough as the Strongest Creature in the World.

And he did all that while moving an entire Island btw
