Don't think there's gonna be some major resolution to it, at best it ties plots to the WG wanting to get a giant army too. Plot ties to the WG > can easily be solved at the final arc instead of prolonging Elbaf.
boy it's going to be great seeing Usopp turn from getting ragdolled by vet level characters to beating commanders out of nowherre because oda couldn't be assed to give him an organic growth through the new world
I said it many times, it's obvious op ends in chapter 1200. And Elbaf is final arc (where final war happens), dunno why people thought elbaf is not tied to ending, it has always been obvious

Oda wasted our time with filler since Punk Hazard and now all the plot lines we once thought were important and central to the story will be abandoned thus making a lot of things we covered that wasn't filler before, become filler now. Peak fiction right.
3 years means 108 chap nearly . How ? That means Bb and world government do not get seperate arc or fight for screw hats . Also , 5 elder dont fight against shs . Shanks vs Luffy wont be . Too short to finish when we check how many mysterious left in op
I think Oda is trying to end his story exactly at volume 120. Editor Sugita said, "He told me that the first part of the story, the part prior to the time-skip, was around halfway through. That was about 60 volumes" http://www.onepiecepodcast.com/2015...nterview-with-one-piece-editor-suguru-sugita/
In fact, Oda exactly finished the timeskip at volume 60. The name of volume 61 was "Romance Dawn: For the New World"
We are currently at chapter 1011, which should be published in volume 100. That means Oda has 20 more volumes to finish his story. If we assume, 5 of those volumes will be dedicated to rest of the wano, then he will have only 15 more volumes. He will need those 15 volumes for the final arc. I think this is what Oda is aiming for: One more massive arc after Wano. In fact, Oda said in his 1000 chapter message, "Luffy's adventure is near the final arc"

The pushback comes from people who think there will be two separate big arcs for Blackbeard and the World Government. Heck some were even suggesting an Elbaf arc where Big Mom comes back. Its pretty clear to me that Oda will pack all the fights into a big final war that makes "Marineford look cute".

A bunch of people try to think how Mihawk will fight against the Alliance in the Final War so that Zoro could fight him.
This doesn't matter at all, Mihawk won't really give a shit about this fight between powers. He only cares to kill his own boredom.
Just re-reading Baratie it's clear, Mihawk wasn't against the Straw Hats or on the side of Krieg, he just wanted to kill his boredom and found a fight with Zoro.
I think Mihawk can start fighting alongside the pirates of the Alliance, as most Warlords will, and then when he meets Zoro in the middle of the battlefield, they will stop and face each other.
And you will see a bunch of pirates and marines stop to watch this legendary duel, just like they did in Baratie.
There doesn't need to be all this reasoning behind Mihawk being on the other side or anything like that.
