The Straw hats have never officially had a vice captain but the fandom basically accepts Zoro to fill this position.
However is this still true now that Jinbe has officially joined the crew, with his wealth of knowledge and experience and he would be just as good as Zoro if not better at fulfilling the role.

There isnt an official vice captain but pirates (Barto and Urogue) have referred to Zoro as the vice captain of the ship.

To me Zoro is just the badass swordsman of the crew haha

Zoro keeps luffy in check. Hes the one who leads the crew when luffy isn’t there.
First mate=vice captain. Just like benn Beckman and Rayleigh both are first mates and vice captains. zoro is the first mate and vice captain. Jinbei joining doesn’t change anything.

Sanji has taken orders from zoro before. they don’t bicker and argue when it comes to crew matters. back in water 7 It was zoro who laid down the law and Sanji just agreed. Zoro is the vice captain. Sanji knows this.

Sanji respected zoros terms and conditions for ussop to return to the crew over nami. just in wano zoro ordered Sanji to take the little and sanji did. lol he scold Sanji and nami cos they couldn’t stop luffys dumb shit. this isn’t going to change with jimbei. zoro Is the vice captain

Sanji doesn't really take orders from Zoro, but agree on matters that are important, but Jimbei shown more to be above in being VC. I see to leaders without Luffy are being Sanji, Jimbei, and Zoro given situations shown.

That's isn't so much obeying Zoro as in feeling bad on not stopping Luffy. That isn't evidence and doesn't Zoro follow more Nami orders and also sometimes Sanji too.

Nami has ordered the crew around more than zoro or sanji, to me it's what characters on OP view them as and the only person that has been viewed as a vice captain is Zoro
