he isnt weak, Kaido was disappointed at Momo being weak, Doffy being weak,
You think he will be willing to see his son if He was a weakling like Doffy or Momo?

It will be hypocritical of himself if he lets his son do what he likes when he despises weaklings

This man respects Strength and willpower.

This guy is too badass to not be the strongest.
He's not that baddest. He was never anything great

this :sabogood:

Tbh it would've felt strange that kaido's crew followed the theme card, and yet he didn't have an "Ace".
We had kaido's introduction in kuri and we know he isn't the Ace of his crew, instead kaido is the governor General.
Kaido's son being introduced now tells me he is probably going to be the beast pirates "Ace in the hole" and their secret card they'll play when they will be in trouble.
In normal situations, i would've said he is a gag character but seeing how the "Ace" position is somehow missing,i think his son will fill that role.
Kaido's son will be above the calamities and close to his father's strength if not outright stronger than him, much stronger than the likes of Katakuri.
What if Kaido's son is the legend lurking in the one piece world? That's definitely possible imo.

Also if Katakuri is kaido's son like people say,why did he ask his subordinates if "Linlin came with her brats" in chapter 931?
He didn't know exactly which children where with big mom,so he just assumed all of them were with her.
His subordinates know his son going from this chapter where he asked them to search for his son.
Katakuri is a triplet with Oven&Daifuku, doesn't make sense for him to call Big mom's children "Linlin's brat" and then reveal later that some of them are also his sons.

It's not like I subscribe to the theory, but I think it's fine, Say if you're divorced but you're ex-wife had children with you and other guys, and she came over to your place unannounced, you might say if she's with her brats or so.

Yeah but the thing is Oda already debunked that in an interview and we know he is never affirmative and never gives a definite answer about something that may have consequences later, unless it is true.
Kaido's son is probably the "Ace" of the beast pirates.
Don't know if kaido's son's mom will be Big Mom,but the son is definitely not Katakuri according to Oda.

Sabo was also said to have died.

Exactly this.

Also it's time to start clearing all this Underworld theme and who are they connected to.

At the moment, we have:

- Shichibukai/World Government: "Heavenly Demon", "Joker" Donquixote Doflamingo.

- Big Mom: Baron Tamago and Pekoms.

- Supernova: Eustass "Captain" Kid and "Massacre Soldier" Killer.

- CPO/World Government: Rob Lucci and another mysterious guy who wears clothes like a literal broker from 20-50's (he resembles a bit like Franky... But he might be another CP0 agent).

Now, remaining hidden we have:

- A long haired dude that looks like a ninja/samurai/swordman. And no, he's not Hawkins.

- Cigar afro muscular dude with ponytail that resembles a mob boss with another slender dude who seems to wear a butler outfit...

- A strange creature who resembles a bit about Gecko Moria... Maybe from the same breed.

- The cowboy and headphones pair who seems to be bounty hunters, hitmen or so.

- Bald horned dude who clearly seems to be Kaido's son and his underling who resembles a bit to Marine Nezumi.

- The spear/trident old dude who smoke (I think he could be Vegapunk, Loki's father, Franky's father or related to Elbaf because I have the feeling that he's very tall. Also he resembles a bit to God Odin IMO).

- Three mysterious figures possibly undercover with weird pirate eccentric pirate costumed or so.

All of these dudes serves under a determinated "flag" or big party so we will start to discover the hidden ones since this arc, Wano.

I still personally think the Underworld has a massive connection to a future arc/plotline. We really only got to know 2 of 6 Underworld emperors (1 was a Joke it seems yes, but there are 3 others that barely got a presence on WCI).

Oda does NOT introduce characters for no reason, and its clear that characters like this play a role in future content. I'm not saying they have to be strong, just important.

If this person is in fact Kaido's son/Ace, I will be definitely looking forward to the potential the Underworld has moving forward.

For the purpose of not setting my self for disappointment I would say relatively weak character, but not a fodder or could it be possible he inherited Kaido’s physical strength to some extent! Yet still shy and hate violence? So many things possible, but still would go with the first option I gave...

Idk, part of me has always believed that Luffy will not 100% solo Kaido this arc, if at all right now. I've always thought there would be a character under Kaido that Luffy would face as his true battle. At first I thought this was Orochi before he was revealed. But then @Jo_Ndule started talking about an Ace character after Queen/King were revealed (and who clearly rag on each other like Jabra/Kaku did before Sanji/Zoro fought them). With the name Ace being somewhat significant this arc in relation to Tama, I could totally see Luffy getting pissed or fighting the Ace due to some silly aspect like them sharing a name.

I almost expect Luffy and crew to have their major battles, kind of like Thriller Bark, but THEN Kaido/Big Mom are the Oars-like battles they have after everyone else is defeated.

THIS to me is how Luffy and the alliance win at Wano without making Luffy god-like for defeating 2 Yonko in one arc on his own. There are many other rival/enemy factions still in this manga and to me it makes no sense for Luffy to be broken top tier before we get to other possible villains. Luffy still needs to struggle against Akainu/Blackbeard and possibly Shanks/Im or any other arc villain Oda decides to introduce whos not a Yonko or Marine still.

Even worse, I could see Oda really extending the Rocks plot beyond Wano, where Kaido and BM's crews are defeated, as well as Orochi, but these 2 leave to finish recruiting former Rocks pirates. They don't even get defeated this arc lmao (god I hope not).

But this is exactly the interesting part about it. That Kaido, a very strong thing whose existence is labelled as horrifying, had a son who is actually weak yet he won't disrespect him because he's his own blood and even loves him. Oda can make it boring by turning Kaido Jr. into another super-strong, high-ranked enemy, or he can actually write a compelling story to enrich his villain (and he has every element to make it work, I mean literally everything from Kaido's potential unnatural existence to his connection to Oden and Momonosuke and the contrast between his strength and his son's weakness).
